I'll take a stab at this....and this just my $.02.

Personally I've stopped reading Golf Magazine and watching GC shows like Mike Breeds show etc looking for tips. It put to many swing thoughts and other things in my head and I'd start getting further and further away from what was working for me. I actually enjoy the practice range, and even more so our huge practice green. I guess I just do it by trial and error. For me working on things is almost as fun as playing. I've found to much instruction (for me at least) from way to many instructors and TV lessons can make things way to confusing. Different teachers have different methods and sometimes their methods seem to be a complete 180* different than the other guys way of teaching the swing. What's worked for me is when I'm at the range (or on the course) I've started writing down small swing thoughts, like ball position, or stance, or whatever is working and write it down in my notebook that's in my golf bag.This way if things start going sour I can look back at when I was striking it well and jog my memory on what I've been working on. I find myself sometimes forgetting what worked so the notebook has helped me.

Now.....this has been beneficial for me over the last seasons. I've found to many tips, TV lessons, or golf magazine tips confuse me. But I know a lot of people who do get great benefit from these outlets for tips.

It seems every new issue of any type of golf publication has tips on "How to cure a slice" or "Add 20 yards to your drive" on just about every cover. Can there really be that many ways to "cure a slice" or "add 20 yards to drive." If there's that many ways to cure a slice how do you know what tip will work best for you?

I'm sure reading or finding golf tips work millions of golfers. I guess people just have to find their own way to weed out the bad and and focus on what works for them.

Ok back to Sully's original question. I find trial and error works better for me than seeking tips. But this is just my $.02. Definitely interested to hear where it hers look for tips that help the game.

Ok Sully I've got two more questions for you? When can we see some satin wedges. :-D And lastly you offer driver, fairways, wedges and now putters. Any chance a Bombtech irons in the future?

FYI, he wasn't kidding. He really did make it right. It's one of the reasons I've got the 3-wood, waiting on my 9 degree driver, waiting on 2 sets of wedges and waiting for them to get some more hybrids in stock to get one of those. Sully has been very easy to work with and very responsive, both here and in chat on his website.

The wedges look great for the price! I have one small semantic critique, though. The 52* wedge is listed as a "Lob" wedge and I imagine it's meant to be labeled a "Gap" wedge. I could be wrong, but I just thought I'd point it out for Sully to possibly make the correction. With small, relatively unknown companies, minor mistakes could be the difference between somebody purchasing or not.

I'm in for a 56 & 60. Leap of faith.

Would like some details about the shaft, weight for example. The steps seem to be closer together than Dynamic Gold (based on the photo), so I'm assuming the shaft is an FST or similar?

Regarding the desire for satin, a scotchbrite pad will take care of that. At the price point mod away! Why not?

Regarding the forged or cast question above, in reading through the thread it was mentioned more than once that these are forged, from 1020 steel I believe.

A pre- order of something you can not see, feel of know anything about? you can get some Texans for $60 for the whole set and they aren't half bad. If you want to try some solid wedges look for something forged, KBS shaft. Know what your getting!
