Anyone play this course? Just got to play it on a vacation to Florida all i can say is WOW, what a awesome layout.

Top track in NE Florida for sure. It's actually the longest golf course in the state, from the tips. They had a PGA Tour event there last year, during silly season. Guys trying to keep or get their cards. A definite play if you can.

I live very close to this course and have played it frequently. From the tips its insanely long, I think 7767 yards and a course rating of almost 78. It was the longest course the tour played in 2008 and it wasn't even close to tipped. It rained in one of the days and several of the par 4's were not consistently being reached by the players in two. A very tough test and a very good course. The strange thing this, the course is adjacent to a course called The Creek Course. It is hands down the best and hardest course I've played. Fred Funk had the course record for 2 years with a 71. It is very private and almost impossible to get on. The course truly puts TPC Sawgrass to shame and that course is awesome.

Anyone that wants to play this course, there is a way. You can actually book a tee time using Golf Now dot com. Its a great way to get on this private resort course. If you are in the area, its by far the best course, along with Creek Course. Any Orlando guys, its a short drive and very well worth it.

There's another way to get on a lot of private courses in Florida, without knowing a member, reciprocal privileges, etc. There's a new company that sets it up. I wrote about it here on my golf blog: http://bit.ly/bE98nu

Played it a couple of years ago--very nice but I prefer the Creek Course.
