My office is just on ongoing argument over what is happening down the street-- All the while i keep looking up the yardage book and trying to figure out my first shot of the day... Draw or Fade? Driver or 3-wood? What is the sight line? Bunker with a fade? or fairway edge with w/ a draw? But oh wait, what if i draw too much and hit too hard, will it go into the bunker? Or wait again, What if i aim at the bunker trying a fade, but it goes straight into the bunker..

Dont want to jinx it just yet but somehow I'm leaving for 4 days at Streamsong and the weather is forecast to be sunny, mid 80s and almost no chance of rain for 4 days in a row - unheard of in Central FL in May.

Actually, no one comes together to form Megatron. Unless you are confusing Megatron with Voltron, but that's a totally different series. Or perhaps in staying with the Transformers, one of the subgroups like the Constructicons, who combine into Devastator...

They're already making up stories about Freddie Gray. Wait and see. Already heard my cop buddy talking about him jumping from a window and breaking his neck. I guess the guy on foot, being chased by cops on bikes ran into a building and then jumped from a window. She was short on details. The cops at the scene haven't even said that and there's no video of anything like that. But, our boys in blue couldn't possible have done something like that, right?

I've done a ride-along in this town. They're so used to messing with people and just running reckless through town, they don't even think about what they're doing in front of an observer.

They make jokes about giving out "humbles" which is basically what they did to Freddie Gray. A hard-core humble. I know a first-hand story of the cops killing a C.I. who had called in another bad guy and then reported the C.I. as one of the "bad guys". They copped to it months later when it was back-page news, probably to avoid another situation like this.

I've seen low level harassment with my own two eyes from the back of a police car. I was talking to the pres of a FOP chapter one night in a bar when Jane Miller came in. There was a high-profile informant case going on at the time that Miller was reporting on. The FOP guy was "b1tch this and b1tch that" and telling me how the cop couldn't be trusted in court because he lied about his overtime pay once.

Not saying the looters are right, but let's try to get past the idea of "these animals" next time someone gets on TV and says, "I don't condone it, but I understand it."

Sorry it took some time to respond, I was out in the field.

I wasn't commenting on the Gray case, I was commenting on the reckless destruction of neighborhoods and businesses.

Obviously something criminal occurred at the time of and after Gray's arrest. You don't know exactly what happened and neither do I. The police officers involved in Gray's injuries should and hopefully will be prosecuted and punished to the full extent of the law. Police officers everywhere have at best a difficult job, at worst an impossible job. As the first level of law they need to be held to a higher standard with their actions because of the impact they might have on a individuals life and liberty. If they don't maintain the societal trust and commit crimes against that trust the punishment needs to be extreme. With that said, multiple investigations are underway in the Gray death and reaction needs to be reserved until they are complete. The facts in cases like this usually come to the surface, it just takes time. Our justice system while far from perfect usually works and is all we have.
I recognize the distrust of the police and great change is needed but destroying the lives, property and businesses of people in your own neighborhood do not affect change for the better.

I'm psyched for tomorrow. I've actually never played Stableford, but have always wanted to.

I think it suits my erratic style. For all the bogies and doubles I've posted this year, I only got birdie-skunked in the crazy windy round with Stix. Since then I'm averaging 2.67 birdies per round, to go along with the 2.5 doubles per round. Hopefully I can accumulate some points in that format!
