Your Fantasy Scramble Group

So I was playing in a scramble not too long ago and got to thinking how we tend to set up our scramble teams based on the strengths of a certain individual. I am talking about the guy who can hit it a mile off the tee, or the guy with solid iron play, to the player who can chip it in from about anywhere. So taking that into consideration and I know most tour pro's can just about hit any shot, who would you bring in for your fantasy scramble group. One guy who you would grab for overall Ferociousness off the tee box, next followed by the player with a rock solid iron play that can just about hit the green from any yardage in, 3rdly, the player who will chip it in from just about anywhere and round out the group with your player who is best with the flat stick. Now keep in mind, you must be one of the players so that leaves 3 open spots. Let me start.

Off the tee box I would take Dustin Johnson. His pure distance off the tee takes so much yardage off that the approach shots are usually from reasonable distances.

From the fairway I would elect to take this spot. I am pretty consistent in GIR so with DJ leaving me wedges in, I am okay here.

My short game expert would have to be Phil Mickelson. Watching him I know that we have a chance at up and down or up and in a majority of the time.

For my fourth guy who will have to be a solid Putter would have to be Rory Nikelroy. Watching him on the final round on Chambers Bay greens make me confident he can probably drain it from the fairway if we needed him to.

So there it is. My Fantasy Scramble group. Who is in your group and what spot would you take up.

Jordan Spieth is 12th in proximity to the hole, but #1 in putts per round. So he gets it close, and then drains them.
Charlie Beljan off the tee. He's #6 in total driving. #2 in distance. #84 in accuracy.
Bubba Watson is T8 with # of eagles, and if my other two guys get it in the fairway long, we can start cutting some corners by unleashing Bubba to play Bubba golf.
I drive the cart, and drain an occasional 10' for birdie.

I'm going off the range here and in going to say Mario Lemieux because he is a hockey good and a good golfer. I'd like to have John Daly because it would never get boring and he can put it out there. The 4 man would have to be Tiger Woods because there will be some post round activities for sure.

I would throw Bubba in for the versatility of being a lefty who hits cuts and can bomb it on right to left holes, and his sheer brilliance with shotmaking. Spieth would be there for solid appproaches and short game wizardry and putting. I think those two would have everything coveredso I'd probably pick Holly Sonders for a bit of eye candy to round out the group.
