Accra iron shafts ... Any users?

Electrical tape is less permanent.  I'm going to buy a roll of 1" and see how I like it.  There are stickers called shaft skins, or something to this effect, but they are way too expensive.

 

Edit: a quick and dirty trial using 3/4" electrical tape looks good.  I think the 1" will be perfect.

How are these shafts working out?

I bought a set as well, but I'm wondering how they play. My 7 iron swing speed is just under 80 MPH. Wondering if you feel these play on the stiff side, and if they are a higher launch shaft as advertised.

I fit into KBS Tour Lite stiff or Nippon NS Pro 950 stiff.

Did you tip them or soft step them at all?

I put together a driving iron with one of these, 115g at M5 (their stiffest flex). Not sure on tipping, but it's a nice feeling shaft. A little softer than MMT 125 TX, but a similar feel. Also reminds me of the Aldila VS Proto. Stable and plush. Recommended, apart from the graphics.

I like the shafts.  They are not a "stiff" stiff.  If you like Nippon 950, you will like these (I think.)  

 

I stepped 1X, because the set I bought was 4-PW, and I play 5-GW.  No tipping.  I have a frequency meter, but I'm too lazy to use it.  Anyone want to buy it?  (ha ha)

I would be doing the same, using the 4-PW as 5-GW.

You can tip them 1/2" if you want.  They are designed for such manipulation.
