Not a surprise. She's not healthy and hasn't been for quite some time. Apparently, the docs said surgery won't help her thumb, only rest.

No slam on Inbee at all, given what an incredible talent she is, but I'm thinking her team has a pretty deep bench! I'm seriously considering attending, as I haven't been to an LPGA event in years! They've been ignoring the upper Midwest for too long.

I imagine with Inbee's success that her husband can or does have a pretty good career teaching in Korea.

Lorena was able to attract that calibre of big fish, and she certainly hasn't turned into an Eva Peron.

(sorry, I still miss Lorena, she was such a great player and still is a great person with an infectious giggle)

That being said, Lorena did not see enough reason to get enough starts, complete the time requirement to get into the Hall.

I'm seriously considering attending, as I haven't been to an LPGA event in years! They've been ignoring the upper Midwest for too long.

 

I'm going to hopefully get to paid to watch a little. Going to be working part of the event staff!
