Golf Bag with FULL Length Dividers?

One would think that golf bag companies would actually have full length dividers when advertised as such. Currently using the Sun Mountain 4/5 and while it was advertised as having full length individual dividers, they are really only 3/4 in length and the club grips still get tangled and interfere with each other. I like to take out and put clubs back in while walking and I'm usually fumbling to get the club back in the last 1/4 of the way, especially the driver, wedges and putter. Same thing happens with my Taylormade Supreme Hybrid bag. I have a little OCD a about it and it drives me bonkers. A person would think that in 2016 golf bag companies would be able to make a bag design where the clubs did not interfere with each other.

 

So, on to my question. Is there a bag on the market where the dividers are actually FULL Length and the club grips do not interfere with each other? I would prefer a stand bag, but would be open to a cart bag as well. Also prefer 14 way dividers, but would be interested in a 7-8 way also. The Sun Mountain Sync was interesting, but it only has 3/4 dividers. I'm curious if the Sun Mountain C-130 has actual full length dividers or are the 3/4 as well? How about the Ogio Silencer bag? I like it the concept, but the local clubhouse doesn't have any to test out with my clubs. I know most of you will say to just deal with it, but that would require me to be rational and this is driving me absolutely insane. Can anyone suggest another brand or model to look into where the clubs do not tangle?

Looks like it may have problems with grips tangling as well.

I bought a Ping Traverse for that exact reason. 14 full length dividers.

 

I have leather grips which are the tackiest (not sure that's a word) grips on the market. They were a nightmare to get in my hoofer and we're actually ruining the grips by forcing them in. New bag has solved this dilemma.

Thanks for the heads up, looks like the Ping bag may be the ticket. Reviews on Amazon give it high praise for having full length dividers and keeping the grips from being tangled.

Most bags that advertise full-length dividers, are only full-length in one direction. I have an old leather bag in my garage that has 14 plastic tubes in it.

My Titleist 14 way are true full length (2014 bag). As stated, the Ping bags are too.

Thanks for the advice everyone! I went and tried the Ping Traverse bag and it was just the ticket. Took one home on a good deal from the local clubhouse. Cheaper than anything I found online. Just loaded it up and the clubs slide in smooth as butter, no grip tangling at all!

 

Only took $500 and 3 different bags, but I think I've found the best bag for me.

That's disappointing to hear as I was interested in the new C-130S. Will have to wait until I can see it in person. My old Ogio bag (2005) is starting to drive me crazy with the grip-tangling at the bottom of the bag.

I have gone through a number of bags the last few weeks trying to find a replacement for a Sun Mountain Hybrid from a few years ago. The clubs in the hybrid NEVER tangle. The only issue I have with the bag is it is slightly too heavy to carry. In the past 10 days, I have picked up and returned a Hoofer, Hoofer 14, Titleist Sta Dry and Sun Mountain 3.5. Ping is very close to having an amazing pair of bags, but the clubs (mine have midsize grips) consistently get tangled so they don't work for me. The Sta Dry had similar issues. The Sun Mountain 3.5 is the best of the bunch, but I would prefer that it have pockets similar to those on the Hoofers.

SM 2.5 is great for this issue. I too suffered from having a bag the wasn't quite what I wanted but found this one. Woods,hybrids and putter sit together, 4,5,6 together, 7,8,9 together and 4 wedges and no tangling at all. The bonus is the bag is light as feather.

I use those plastic tubes from golfsmiff. Makes getting them in and out a snap!

After several rounds, both with a push cart and riding cart, I am happy to say that the Ping Traverse is just what I was looking for. Clubs slide in and out easily with minimal effort and no binding/tangling. I'm hoping this will be my bag for a few years.

I am in discussienota with Titleist about this issue. I bought the bag as the promiss is in the specs that the bag has  the full length dividers. It Has not! Titleist tries to give me a stupid answere hoping that i (as enduser) will be silent afterwards. But i really want full length dividers for which i paid.
