I'm looking for spin and distance in a ball that is more affordable. ProV1s are way too expensive!!!

I prefer a softer ball and predictability around the greens.

 

I've been playing Snell's MTB exclusively for nearly a year now. I can confidently say this ball is as good as it gets for $31.99 a doz. Even got a few guys at the CC to game MTB's exclusively as well.

These balls follow all commands given from the tee box to the bottom of the hole.

Well - price is not an issue, though SPIN and FEEL is absolutely and distance will take care of its self .

For me it's all about spin. Most balls go about the same distance, but spin around the greens is what matters most to me.

For me I like a firm core with a soft cover. The feel I get with firm core gives me the feedback I need at impact. This combined with a soft cover it the combo that suits me best. Still slightly soft off the putter when the ball is not compressed, but still grips 1/2 wedge shots nicely. Price is always part of the consideration and to a lesser degree, durability. I usually use 2 balls per round on average and I have yet to play a ball that doesn't qualify as acceptable.

What I look for in a ball is one that finds the cup. Like a heat seeking missile. Even when I chunk it. But mostly a soft feel and good spin. Lower cost as well.
