Preparing for this year's (2017-2018) fantasy football season

I'm starting to get emails with league invites and draft dates. Has anyone started preparing yet?

 

I'm pick 9 of 12 in my snake draft and my other one is an auction.

Locked in for one league right now, probably will do one or two more. It's a 14 team league, which is deeper than I'm used to so I need to be looking heavy into sleepers. They also have limits on number of players per position so hopefully that means nobody will just stockpile like crazy. I think I'll join a fantasy draft prep site again as it worked out pretty well last year.

Julio is scary good... when he's healthy... that's the major concern with drafting him. He's always a risk

How's everyone's drafts going? I had my first one last night. I'm kinda weak at RB. I could use some advice on whether or not I should make a trade.

Had my first draft this past Wednesday, have two on Monday and 1 on Wednesday. RB's are a crap shoot, after Bell and Johnson, it's gets really tough. McCoy is on a team that will likely see 8 in the box defending against the run. Demarco Murray has Henry breathing down his neck, Zeke is currently suspended for 6 games and is hoping a preliminary injunction allows him to play until a court can hear the appeal. Martin looked good on Hard Knocks but he's suspended for 3 games, Lynch is an unknown in Oakland, Davonta Freeman, Carlos Hyde, Isiah Crowell and Kareem Hunt are probably safer bets.

Team 2: AJ Green and Ajayai are both first round picks, Gurley is a 2nd round pick, and Hunt and Mcaffrey are both 3rd round picks. I don't see how it's possible you drafted this team.

I'm not far off. I've got CJ Anderson/Montgomery as my starters, then also have Coleman, Lacy (the other side of your Rawls), and Paul Perkins. I think Anderson should have a decent enough year. Montgomery scares me a little. I like the potential, but need to see actual production first.
