Stitch SL1 stand bag

Anyone have trouble storing the rain hood in the bag? Just got my bag in and the hood takes up one whole pocket.

I dont carry my rain hood regularly, but I can see how this would be an issue with the SL1. I love the bag as far as looks and build quality, but the pockets are not great, not even good. It would be great for a minimalist bag but for everyday/week use it's not a great option. I have gone back to my Srixon Z85 bag and for lighter duty I prefer my Jones Players. Stitch nailed it with the looks on the SL1, though.

Bought mine 3 weeks ago and played 4-5 rounds so far. Was lucky enough to find this color combo at my club. Only thing i could find online was green which i didn't care for much.

Here are my impression so far:

   Positive: Love the look. Got many compliments from ppl on the course.

                Fabric is top notch. Says it's waterproof? Any grass or dirt stain - i just wipe it off with towel and it comes off. Hope fabric stays this way

                Very rare. Not sure i know anyone with this same bag.

   Negative: Having no full-length dividers doesn't help with club tangle.

                I carry 13 clubs. all irons on the bottom and driver/FW/hybrid/putter at the top. Constant club tangle pulling in/out of clubs. I use standard size grip.

                Single strap is no issue but leather strap is HARD/RIGID. Time will tell if this 'gives' any but for now, it is somewhat uncomfortable.

               (2) side pockets are small and not whole lot i can store. Typically, i carry 3-4 balls, few tees, divot tool, 1-marker, 2-gloves and scorecard holder. This pretty much fills it up.

               Water bottle pouch is tiny and can barely fit 16-20oz bottles. 

 

Obviously i'm finding more bads than goods but i absolutely love this thing so far. I always walk and carry my bag so from comfort level, this isn't anything close to what i had with SM 2.5+ bag but overall look and quality keeps me happy.
