Stitch SL1 stand bag

Got mine yesterday night, I really like it! The pink is a cool highlight IMO. I agree that the strap is kind of tough, but I'm gonna try to break it in a bit before I get the Jones strap. It's very surprising that it fits all fourteen clubs pretty easily, it's easier getting them in and out than it was with my Callaway bag. The only thing I'm adjusting to is the pocket space, but I'm sure that won't be that big of a deal. It's an awesome looking bag and I'm excited to get out on the course with it!

Update: Jones strap is a luxurious upgrade. I don’t care what they say about breaking in the Stitch strap. It’s not even remotely close. Makes me like the bag more now.

 

Can I see a photo of what this looks like? Which strap did you get? I have come to the conclusion after a year that strap is stiff and rubs the hell out of my shoulders. I love the bag itself, so a strap replacement might be ideal. Thanks.

I have gone back to the stock Stitch strap for a surprising reason. For some reason, the Jones strap slides off my right shoulder. It is perfectly fine on my left shoulder. I like to alternate through the round, so that is a problem. The Stitch strap has grip, so it is not going anywhere although it is nowhere as comfortable.

Found a really good deal on the vintage sl1, so I decided to pull the trigger. The quality and materials used are even better in person. It just looks like a quality bag and I can see why it's on the expensive side. Walked with it for the the first time today and really enjoyed it. Like other have mentioned, the strap is a little hard but the rubber piece on it is nice and I liked that it didn't slip off my shoulder like my previous bag. The only thing I noticed today that I missed having was a velcro spot to put my glove between shots, but that's an easy fix.

I see WRX is only 18 months behind the curve - as they've posted a superficial 'spotlight' on the SL1 that seems to be pretty much a copy/paste from Stitch, plus an equally empty on the info thread to go with it. So thought I'd bump this useful.

I’ll have to reiterate(?) that this bag holds enough. Is it a lot? No. Is it enough? Yes. I just played two more rounds with and it was great. Even the bag drop guy commented “What a great bag!” The quality, minus the strap and that is substantial, is phenomenal. If you need more than tees, a glove, a dozen balls, club wrench, small bottle and a packable jacket then this isn’t for you. For me, the quality and style outweigh the minor inconveniences.

Anyone tried to put one of those seat belt strap covers or something similar on their bag? It's a shame they didn't do their due diligence on testing the comfort of the strap and we have to try to figure out a way to make it more comfortable.

I'll take a photo tonight, but any single strap should do nicely. I also found that the rain hood from my Jones fits perfectly on the SL1.

 

Because, let's face it, the included rain hood is absurdly large.

Fits fine in my 3.5. Only issue I’ve seen is bag is so light that it can tip over if you aren’t careful. All the weight is at the top with the club heads. Only happened once for me though.

Yeah I will get a pic next chance. I will say I walked this weekend and carried. Didn’t push. And actually felt less tired than when I used my cart. I did only have 11 clubs so bag was lighter.

I was told their are no changes to the bag coming. They also told me their is a rain suit coming called the SL1 Rain Suit made to fit into the pockets.

Darn ya and it's got big eff-off lettering on the side of it. Time to wait out them clearing out SL1 stock so they hopefully get some better looking options for the SL2.

Agreed. That huge logo is... well... huge. I can't believe they got that past a focus group. I feel like part of the reason you go Stitch (or any minimalist bag) is to be more understated. I can't imagine this does well.

Like the bag itself, don't like the big logo. Hoping a logo free look will come along.

Also, looking at it further, both have too much orange on them. I like orange with navy or light blue, but it's too strong here IMO.

I really like the dividers and double strap but like others have said the logo is a little too much for me. I will stick with my SL1 for now.
