Are members even playing there now? They usually have the Derby this time of year. I guess that isn't happening.

Any idea what the <35 membership options look like?

Whitemarsh has an initiation fee of $7,500 and annual dues of $5300 plus $20/month cap assessment and $100/qtr food min. Dues are $3100 if under 30 and initiation fee drops to $6k

Based on what I found online, Cricket had dues of $7,700 for single membership but the initiation fee is $14,500 (can also be paid as $2k upon joining, $2k on 1st anniversary and $125/mo for 10 years). They are full so you would be waitlisted with slightly lower dues of $6900.

Derby was postponed until 10/12-13, but many people have resigned or will be resigning this month. I think there were 28 or so players on the tee sheet yesterday. Most of my group has been playing at other clubs, either out of pocket or as a preview round since Concert hasn't set us up with reciprocal privileges elsewhere (I assume they think us driving an hour to White Manor should be sufficient).

What a shame. The North Course is a classic! The most underrated course in this area.

Hopefully it comes back next Spring. I just don't know how many members will stick around. Concert Management couldn't have handled this any worse....

If these are the actual numbers for Whitemarsh and Cricket join one of them asap. Both are top notch courses and have good memberships. With Cricket you get two championship level courses, great facilities and a pretty connected (although somewhat stuffy) membership. Whitemarsh has ok to good facilities and some wonky holes but overall it's a great club with a really cool and fun membership.

@Cuff I absolutely love HVCC, but when I checked 4 or 5 years ago dues (including the monthly assessment) were north of $10k for family before I would even put a tee in the ground. Definitely a great deal for a single, Jr membership (which I believe was in the $4k-$5k range) but the non-Jr family rate is above what I am looking to spend (I only play 40-50 in season rounds).

Thanks, Bonneville. I don't know anyone. I can't seem to crack the upper echelon of CC in the area.
