I sent williaza a DM to help with sizing. Long story short...I went down a half size in the Originals and found the Outsiders true to size. I walked 36 a day for 3 days at Bandon Dunes and the Outsiders held up beautifully! I’m a big believer in the brand so let me know if anyone has other questions or if you want a coupon code.

Im ready to pull the plug on one of these..but sizing seems all over. am i correct to say these run slightly big?

I wear a size 9 in Nike and FJ and bought a 9 in these. They seem to fit true to size for me, the toe area is wider than most shoes so they feel roomier but they don't feel big or slip, if that makes sense. Give them a shot, hands down the comfiest shoes I've ever worn.

Any way to get these under retail?

15% off your order if you use my coupon code. TRUEJOE

How do the originals feel compared to shoes with significant cushioning? (i.e. Adidas Boost, Puma Ignite) Are they like to OG Trues where you feel everything or do they have some cushioning?

I never had a pair of the OG ones and I bought these because I prefer the slimmer profile . I’ve walked probably 20-30 rounds in these and never once had a complaint about anything. Previously I was wearing dry joy tours and felt like they were heavy and would tire my feet out.

Update: Finally got my Trues today (over a week in shipping) and they sent the wrong shoes. I ordered Outsiders and they sent Originals...I am a little upset because i was worried about size anyone so now i have to wait for them to resend correct shoes and hope the size is correct or ill have to wait again to get the right exchanged size....oh and its friday night so thats great, have to wait until monday

Ordered a pair of each back in March. Unfortunately, with our weather, have only gotten to wear them regularly very recently. I did take the Originals out to California and enjoyed those - that was on the range and some golf while riding. I really like both shoes a lot and I like the Originals better than any version of the "originals" I've had before - nobody asking about my clown shoes, and I had some of those. I love the better snugness in the heel (at least to me).

If I had to choose for walking 18 and carrying, I'd wear the Outsiders. I'll try the Originals with a push cart, and they are my favorite between the two but it is really close.

I've always been a FootJoy Contour guy (did get some DryJoys Tour customs I think maybe last year, can't remember, but had some issues with the soles and I think I need a wider shoe in those).

Got these in white and I'm thinking of getting another pair of each in black here pretty soon so I can rotate them around and not get caught short if they change the style in the next couple of years.

Customer service did get back to me quick on friday afternoon (i was pretty happy with that)...they are sending the correct shoes 2 day expediated shipping on monday..should have them wednesday...also offered me to keep the originals for $100...which is a good deal but i just could swing the extra money for 2 all white spikeless shoes

I had the OGs and played them until they came apart. These feel like a more durable version of those. You can't stand on broken or embedded tees, or old divots on teeboxes because of how flexible and thin the sole is. If you had the original originals you know exactly what these feel like right down to the iffy traction on wet ground. I still love them to bits though, they are the best pair of shoes I've ever had to carry with.

They have a good customer service reputation. I'm sure they will do u right

Good customer service means you ship the order right the first time...why do we all apologize for companies that screw-up?

Business is a complicated thing. If you have followed this company's history (I have only played true shoes since their first gen), then you know they are trying to restart.

The guys order got screwed up. It happened s from nike, ping, Ford, the IRS, etc. It happens.

All I'm saying is that in my experience they will take care of him.

Chill out.

After i got over the initial dissapointment..they did reach out very quick through both email and their website message system and made the situation as right as they could. I cant fault them for that..People make mistakes...I was just mad at that initial moment

After rotating some rounds between a pair of new Originals and a pair of second generation Tours, I can say that I think the quality of the new shoes is markedly better. Every aspect just feels more solid. They might be fractionally less wide, though, if that's important to you.

Hey, I am just calling it as I see it. We always say that these guys or those guys have such great customers service. Well I am sorry, but that's what they are supposed to do. They should not get a medal for it. It's called good biz practices. I was a buyer of the original True shoe, and had to return them 3 times due to delamination issues. So I gave True a chance as an early adopter, and now to read here that it takes them multiple days to get back to people on inquiries, just leads me to believe that these guys are basically running bare bones. Have no time for it, bought myself a pair of Biom Hybrid 3 (GoreTex), and could not be happier.

I just received a pair of Originals. I'm finding them incredibly difficult to put on, but once my foot is in they're perfect. Anyone else have this issue? Do they loosen up over time?

After 8 months with mine they absolutely have not loosened up, but I am better at putting them on. Loosening the laces didn't help me get my foot in, nor did a shoe horn. I just started pulling them on using the heel tab while I push my toe in against the ground. I've got it down to something like a high effort slip on now. I love these shoes so much it doesn't even bother me how hard they are to get on.

I am not disagreeing with you..just had to say to be fair they got back to me and fixed the problem very quickly. While it did originally suck it didnt take days to get back to me. Now, the original 8 days to get a shipment is a little frustrating but not a deal breaker

Same for me, but a shoehorn works. I’ve got a nice metal/smallish one that I always keep in the shoe or golf bag. Can’t put these on without it... it love the feel and fit when on.
