Odyssey Red 7s - backorder

anyone else waiting on one of these?

 

I placed my order 3 weeks ago, supposed to ship this week. The Odyssey site still says 6-8 weeks.

Yes, my Red 7s backup was ordered a few weeks ago... no updates via email yet, but it's only a backup to the black so no major rush.

Same here... I figured that might be the primary reason for delay.

Ha, probably not. I need to cut mine down (only had 35" at store) so figured I'd just order a shaft and swap it rather than waiting and then pulling the grip.

I have not ever waited this long for a club, which i suppose is lucky, but I am not overly patient about these things.

$11.98 shipped for a black stepless shaft from golfworks. I'll use it as is for now and within a week I should be all set up with a black shaft.

Didn't realize they were on backorder. I've seen quite a few at the Golf Galaxy and some of the golf course/driving range pro shops over here.

I was just informed the heads are in, supposed to have in 3-5 days.

I was going to get one myself, anyone know if the red is the same size head as the black? I remember the white hot pro 7 with a sight line was larger than the versa with the dots. Is that true with these? Sorry to thread jack ....

red and black are the smaller #7 head.

I ordered a Red 7S directly through Odyssey on August 21st, and the last time I called for an order status update I was told October 18th...

 

I ordered through MHG on the same day. I am guessing adding the black shaft did not speed it up any.

While I haven't held them up against each other I'd say they were exactly the same size.

Big retailers have them but only with the superstroke. I got desperate and bought with the superstroke took it off and put on a midsize. ended up costing an extra $30

Haven't seen any retailers with the Red 7s with a black shaft. For that reason alone, i'm still waiting for Callaway to ship it when they get around to making it...the wait continues

i was super early on ordering this through Callaway. Order date shows 8/2/17

Finally, putter is set to ship out today, overnight delivery. This is the first time I have waited a month for a golf club, damn.

Just received ship confirm this morning finally here too. I ordered in mid-August. I would love to take it with me this weekend... fingers crossed it gets here by Friday afternoon as I'm leaving for eastern IA trip early Sat morning.
