i heeded the advice of some of you earlier about my driver being illegal next year and invested in a 10.5 905r with a 44.5" graffaloy blue from 3balls on ebay. got it for $133. decent value? i figure its a titleist so the ball flight will go lower, whereas the callaway tended to play above its loft if that makes sense. im not really one of these people who will go out and spend $400 on this years latest driver which is meant to be so much better and longer than the preceding one when 12 months ago they were saying the same thing about what i got for 1/3 of the price. i guess i believe its the swing not the club. a good workman et all.

those are the hardest 4 strokes to get off your score for sure. putting (phils drill does do wonders) then do the same drill from 5 feet and with 50 balls, then 7ft with 20 balls. I would say 3 hours: 1.5 putting, 1 chipping and 100in and .5 working on full swing. I can't practice putting that much unless i'm betting with people but if you want to drop those stokes off that is where it mostly comes from. good luck!

Make sure you have the speed of the greens down so that you don't 3 putt. I think the rest is is mental. You can't think about shooting 68 on the first tee and get real aggresive on the first three holes. Just get off to a solid start and pick your spots. You have to let the bidies come to you by giving yourself a chance on every hole(GIR). Make sure you are making smart decisions and not going at every pin. I started to shoot low scores when I focused on getting off to a solid start(no bogeys) and then getting some bidies in the middle of the round. There's been too many times that I have gotten off to a bad start and gone low on the back nine and thought what could've been.

Stack and Tilt is a crap swing model which unless you are actually physically strong enough to do will just mess up your golf.

 

Why would you stick your hips out and only swing with your arms?

 

Look at an other athletic sport, throwing a tennis ball, hitting a basball, javelin, kicking a ball anything which requires distance or heing or something, would you stand still and only use your arms? No, in tennis you get your body through and hit the ball, baseball the same....

 

so why no do the same in the golf swing, weight is the most powerfull tool you can use to gain distance and improve ball striking....

 

John Sendon, consistantly one of the best ball strikers on the PGA Tour, does he stack and tilt?

 

Amateurs get these magazines and thing oo this workds but they are not even doing it correctly, so i doubt neither are you....

Incorrect. Gary Edwin teaches the right-sided swing, which may appear similar to the S&T swing, but is actually very different.

S & T = Badds, Weir etc

Edwin = Pamps, Lonard (no longer coached by Edwin though)
