Just wondering what everyone thought was Nike’s best game improvement irons during their brief stay in the market!

My brother has the Covert 2.0 (regular, not forged (I think that’s what they are anyway)) irons. He’s pretty bad at golf but he seems to hit them well enough. I always liked how they looked. They’re not forged though.

Forgot about the non forged version. They did have a REALLY good MPF score too.

I think the VR Pro combo with the pocket cavity (not the blades or the split cavity) were pretty awesome. Launched super high and very long too. Quite a few available at a decent price online.

Agree with the VRS Forged. They definitely weren't a set I knew alot about, but a friend of mine got them and I really liked them myself. I can't really say anything bad about any of their forged sets. The pro combo sets are some of my favorite, both the Vapor and the VR. To me, the VRS Covert 2.0 don't look as thick on the topline as much as the soles do. Between some of the guys on my HS team and myself we've had the VRS Forged, VR Pro Combo, VRS Covert 2.0, and the Vapor Pro Combo (mine). I think I was the only one no to use the VRS Forged, but I know they all liked them. Just thinking about all those irons brings back the good ole days.

Nike Vapor Speed Irons. I am playing them for the second summer now I think and have noticed a huge change. I went from Titleist AP1 710 to these Nike irons and saw night and day difference in game improvement. These irons have such forgiveness and distance combo that is tough to replace with a different set of irons. With these irons, I have gone from a bogey golfer to now have shot par 36 multiple times this summer which I never thought I would accomplish. I will be sticking to these irons for awhile.
