My first and only thought is, "is this ***** going to get what I'm saying or am I wasting my breath?"

What do you mean?

For instance, if someone is adamant that they are right about something, is it worth it for me to try to explain to them where they may be wrong, or just let it go, since after all, it's the internet, and everyone is a keyboard warrior as it is.

I feel like you're worth the time to explain things to, which is why I wrote this post, since I know you're gonna get it :)

That’s pretty good. I think he “fergied” you Fergie!

Now the goal here is to NOT argue amongst the OP's about what you think...possibly valid points. It's more about what thread topic or comment gets you all riled-up to write-up a long response, then you think...Ahhh...that might not be a good idea...or....I'll get 1,204 angry notifications...or maybe it's the Tequila talking?

The goal is also for this topic to survive at least two days before being locked.

sorry can't seem to scroll down as I fixated on your avatar.

What was the question again?

Here's a series of posts that I DIDN'T delete....but I couldn't help myself....I got some mean pm's from Super Speed Golf maniacs...these are real posts....and picture.

OP: Has anyone ever broken their radar? I hit mine with a ball. Does super speed warranty?

ME: If you're hitting the radar you might want to back-off SSG and get back to basics.

Another OP: I saw an instruction online about laying it flat, face up about 3 feet ahead of the ball. It can measure ball speed of the ball flying over top of it. You can get some sort of wedge shield that you put in front of it so that if you top a ball it won’t shatter the radar.

ME: A shield! LOL! That's the funniest gawd dag thing I've heard! But...does the shield have a warranty? BWAHAHAHAHHA

Example of what not to do.

You realize the OP suggests the device was broken with a ball...right?

...and the device measures ballspeed as well as club speed...depending on where you place the radar? Right?

What am I missing here?

Edit...this is what the guy was talking about...and it's the same logic as buying SkyTrack armor.

I'm always looking for new recipes.

Snowman34865 posted a wonderful winter stew last week - perfect after a cold round of 18.

Come on Ferg...you probably ask yourself the question...WWPD and then do the opposite, right?

I still don't understand why an area can be marked ground under repair and I get relief, but I have to play my ball as it lies from a divot. The USGA ruled you can leave the flagstick in while putting, but didn't address divots?! *re-reads, considers, cancels post, goes to 19th Hole to read about bourbon*

Uhh, yeah...it's called hitting the ball off the painted part of the outermost part of the driver into the radar. I can diagram if you'd like?

Blame the Scottish folks. They came up with these dumb rules before cars were invented.

So, you mocking the guy for topping the ball, and breaking his device was cool in both that thread and this thread...right?

There are a lot of folks on this board that are just trying to push thier Driver out past 200-225. If Superspeed is the way they get there, more power to them.

If you tell us you've never topped a Drive, we'll be assured you're a dead @ss liar.

Dude, do you play golf? The radar is placed about 45 degrees to the right of the driver. nothing to do with topping the ball. Lol. This is why I shouldn't have posted the comments.

Dude...do you understand how the device works? Hell, I posted a link to a PDF so you wouldn't keep talking out of your @ss.

Still didn't work for you.

Read it...understand it...and please stop mocking folks when it's you that people are laughing at.
