Best bending bar?

Recently picked up a True Blue loft lie, and need a bending bar. I’ve heard a lot of people say the Mitchell bar is the best, but which one specifically? Ideally something with a longer neck and of course a longer length bar. Thanks guys!

Yeah, I've found that many of their tools and units are manufactured by GolfMechanix. Saves a lot on shipping, to not have to go overseas from them.

 

As for the bar itself.....this thing will surprise, with how it can move what was previously assumed to be a "non bendable head". It really makes a noticeable difference. Well worth the extra cost

I haven't seen that wishon post but I radiused the top/bottom edges of the clamp jaws.

Hoestly a bending bar is a bending bar I’ve used cheap ones and expensive ones they all do the same thing- bend golf clubs.

Some leave marks, some don't. Some have an angle that helps certain types of loft bends, some don't. They may all bend clubs, but some are significantly better than others. It's silly to post otherwise.

My point is that the big Mitchell one isn’t necessarily better than the small cheaper ones. U almost get more feel with the small ones and they still bend the club just as easily and I’ve never had a bending bar actually leave marks on a club.

The extra long and heavy ones, like the one linked to above, make bending easier because they produce more leverage. Not as big of a deal on soft heads that are easy to bend with anything, but it does make a big difference on firmer metals....for example bending a 17/4 cast Ping head

well if you really want to blow your money on a bending bar buy the most expensive one from golfmechanix. They are the best in the biz but I'd recommend splurging instead on one of their higher end loft lie machines that you can adjust indpendent for loft so that the hosel is always in the upright position making it wayy easier to adjust loft lie and lie seperately. Not only that but it comes with a real high end bending bar.

I love my Mitchell adjustable , and I really don't mind bend marks on my irons!
