GD IZ vs Tensei CK Pro Blue

I’m trying to find out what the similarities are between these shafts. I have the IZ in my driver and really love it. Nice high flight and very straight. I feel like I can really lay on it and it doesn’t get away from me. I have the CK Pro Blue in my 3 wood and it’s also an amazing shaft. Straight as heck and still easy to get off the deck. Very smooth.

 

What I’m trying to do is figure out profile wise what these two shafts have in common since I hit both very well. I wound up with both through just trial and error. Do they share similar EI profiles? Thanks

Both shafts have similar bend profiles. Stiff butt, softer mid and a sturdy tip. Good all around bend profile.

From my experience, very similar profiles. Both great shafts and fit a wide variety of swing types.

Agree, both mid launch, softer mid section relative to the tip and butt. Pretty much every shaft maker offers at least one version of this profile and should all offer similar results if similar quality.

Thanks for the responses so far. I’m now looking for a hybrid shaft around 80-85 grams and my obvious first choices to look at were the new IZ hybrid coming out as well as the Tensei Pro Blue hybrid. I mean why not? I can see at least the IZ hybrid has a different profile compared to its sibling I have in my driver..not sure what the shaft profile is on the Tensei Pro Blue hybrid. When it comes to hybrid shafts are they intentionally different from the same named wood shafts or are they designed to feel and perform like their full sized relatives?
