IOMIC Putter Grips

Feedback Please

Just wondering how many of you have used the Iomic Putter Grips and what kind of feedback you have for them...
I bought an Iomic Putter Grip, and have yet to install it because my putter has a brand new Bettinardi Hex B Winn grip..
Looking For reasons to rip the Win Grip off

baa! i just put one on a week or two ago, on a guerin rife twobar blade, that had a win grip. it was an impulse buy i saw one in chicago. I like it. it was like 18bux, so that is way more expensive, but i like it.

 

So, i like it. is it worth 18 bux. NO. does it feel nice? yep. very nice. did it get dirty quick? yep. Would i do the whole set with them? no, kind of expensive. is it worth a try ? i guess depends upon: how long it will last for you, and #2... what kind of expendible income you have on things like that, vs just a plain old grip... you decide...

we put them on all our putters and most folks really like them.

 

i love mine. great thing is they are similar to pingman black out or studio design, but since they are not rubber,

the last much longer. only drawback is they don't stretch, so removing them safely usually means using a needle.

depends on what you like in a grip. If you are a good putter who's looking for a lot of feel, then IOMIC is it... period. 3 sizes available.

I have small on my rife, (have small hands). It gives you so much more feel its not even funny. I don't care about the "ions", etc. I just like the feel.

does it get dirty, a little, does sand stick to it? yes. can you wipe it right off with a wet towel? yes.

does it last WAY longer than a WINN? YES.

Now, if you like the "SpongY" feel of the WINN, and have to rely on that cushion because you DEATH GRIP the putter under pressure, then you may want to stick with the WINN.

But in my humble opinion... that Betti deserves the best... a white Iomic grip. (no I don't have any for sale).

Got a mid sized Iomic and have been putting my best the last few months of my life. Firm smooth feel, similar feel to a studio scotty grip. 18 bucks, heck I'd pay 50 if I had too, I like it that much.

I've been using a White Iomic Medium on my Black Series since i got it. I like smooth grips, so thats why I went with the Iomic. The white does get a little dirty, but it's easy to clean. I recently picked up a large size Black Iomic grip that I want to use on the new Mizuno Black Carbon series when they come out.

I actually dont like the Winn, but I'm kinda cheap, as I come from a rice farmer.... LOL

I prefer a little firmer grip than winn...

and Crack hasn't entered my system so far..... NO PROMISES LOL

But I am Anxious to try my midsized White IOMIC Putter grip

I have a neon green grip by a company called Funkd. They sent t** to me so I could review it on my site. It is very similar to the Iomic and is all in all a nice grip.

Very good grip. I like the firmer feel better than that of the Grip Master. Really a nice feel.

I regriped all my 5 Camerons with white Iomic midsize. Main reason: They look awesome!! And they last longer. Just wash with soap and they're good as new.

Has anyone tried the Oversize? I have pretty big hands (I use midsize GP's with extra tape on my irons and woods). Just wondering how HUGE it really is. I have a Baby T right now and it is just too small. And I cant find anywhere to feel a OS Iomic.

The width actually extends from the flat part of the grip backwards (towards you if you are gripping and addressing it) so its more wide than thick. If thats not enuff, slap on a few layers of tape.

 

I only wear a size 23 glove but prefer a thicker putter grip. Keeps my wrists out of the stroke.

I just piced up a white Med. size for $16.99 for my Byron gamer. It feels great, looks great and performs even better. Very stylish and as most said very expensive, you can get a Winn for $6.99 but I prefer the feel of the elastomer and I like that it's injection molded. It took me a while to go over all the colors and pick which one I wanted and I have a thing for white belts right now so I went with the white Iomic. I would say try it at least once on your gamer.

They feel great. Way better than the Winn in my opinion. Lasts longer too!

Can't say enough about mine...better, firmer feel than anything else out there and they clean up like new with just soap and water. The small is like a Ping black-out grip size, the medium is like a Scotty baby-T (but smooth obviously) and the large is about the same size as the old school large Royal grips or TigerShark grips.

iomic grips are great for both your putter and the rest of your sticks. have them on all my clubs and love them.....plus they have all the cool colors! :good:

Ok, I finally installed the Iomic grip last week, and absolutely love it....

 

It is much better than all of the Winn grips I have used.... And the old Golf Pride models as well..

 

$20 well spent

I have used the Large Iomic grips for my last two putters and think they are one of the best putter grips on the market, I am partial to a soft grip, no cords for me.

get them at regripit.com, they have a cool site, they shipped my grip free and it got to me fast. 18 bucks well spent. Better than dealing with Winn grip that I have to pull off every 5 weeks. (quick math here, IOMIC wins) Oversize is out, I don't think they make it any longer.

Took me a couple of days to get used to it, but I could not be happier. I went with the regular sized IOmic and ordered another for a backup putter!
