IOMIC Putter Grips

are these putter grips tacky like the iomic stickies or tacki mac itomics?

I just picked up my first Iomic.....the other gamers have pingman or studio design grips and a putter I just picked up had too much texture - I like smooth so I thought I'd give it a try. So far, so good. Still snow on the ground but the carpet putting has been fine. Much happier with it on the putter.

I have the Large and Med on two Rife Barbados and prefer the shape of the Large as it has softer edges and is just slightly larger than the standard Winn. The white gets dirty pretty quickly but easy to clean and it definitly looks cool.

Well worth the extra few bucks in my book.

I have a midsize white on my putter and have never putted better in my life. Could be the putter, could be the grip, or it could be a combo of the two. Either way I am very pleased with this grip. Feel in my hands is fantastic and it seems to be working.

Smooth, and has a good feel to it when i putt.

Besides being made out of a completely different material (Iomics are elastomer, GPs are rubber), the small size is a bit smaller than the tradition, the medium is about the same (maybe a touch larger) and the large size is much bigger. Feel wise, the Iomics are a lot smoother yet still tacky while the GP Tradition has the coarser, "grippier" feel of rubber (at least while they're new).

Iomics tend to have better durability in my experience.

I love the iomic putter grips. Best putter grip on the market. I have them on every scotty i've got. Can't beat the feel....Sure, after about 6 rounds they start to get a little dirty, but here's an idea, take a soapy wash cloth to it and it looks brand new! I have white ones and they look brand new after a wet cloth wipe down.

I have a regular white Iomic and love it. It's the second time I've used Iomics, the first time I had a medium blue and didn't dig it all that much. I don't know if it's the change in size or what, but I'm loving the regular white, it's money. Plenty easy to clean as well.

Anyone compared the absolute, opus1, and standard against each other? It looks like the absolute has a way different texture. Not sure that is a good or bad thing or more just a personal preference.

Absolute is a different shape to the others too.

Isn't the Opus1 just a different color effect?

I have a Black Midsize on my Oddy WHT #9
I absolutely love the feel of it. I have relatively small hands and the mid-size fits perfect. I have been 2 putting and single putting like a champ! Well worth the money :0) (not to mention got mine off RBG for $15 on sale)

If you want something that'll make the putter feel softer, they're a good bet. I'd never use one on a frequency filtered shaft though because they kind of defeat the purpose of them (I tried the combination, doesn't work well together).

I just got a White Iomic grip on my Scotty Cameron, I like it so far. It gets durty but I wipe it down with windex after each round just like I wipe down my putter with oil cloth and it sparkles. It looks great

I liked the feel and put them on two putters. In a few days the writting came off. They felt nice but EVERYTHING stuck to it, sand, grass clippings. etc so I got rid of them for Lamkin Oversized Grips. I love the Lamkins, nice and flat on the front for my thumbs. =) Maverick

I've nEver had the writing come off mine and I have them on oth my gamers. Also they are super flat on the front. Nothing really stick to mine. You buy fakes?

I can chime in here being an Iomic user for a long time. I recently tried Premio grips as a replacement, I like it much much better as the shape of the grip is better IMO. The Iomic has a more squared edge, the Premio is a but softer edge wise. They are $8 vs $17 as well...

I love the standard Iomic putter grips but think the belly version are ugly as sin. Love the feel of them, but couldn't look at that thing. They need to stick to the single color grips IMO.

I have a white Iomic in my Yes Tracy II and I love it. Wipes clean with a wet towel and feels so smooth.
