I bunched these two great songs together as they were such early favorites of 13 year old me back in Detroit. Hand held AM radios provided all the magic we young males needed.

This was my main mode of transportation around So Cal (Camp Pendleton), although I did take a couple banzai runs up to Nanaimo, BC on it. '83-'86 Yamaha XJ 900.

Yessir. I was in love and on a mission . . .

 

With a 5-gallon tank I had to stop every 180-255 miles, so I had plenty of opportunity to stretch.

I was 11 years old when my parents took my sister and me to the see the Poseidon Adventure. (1972)

I thought it was the most thrilling movie I had ever seen. Wow I was impressed.

This brings back good memories. I saw Marshall Tucker with the Dead in Englishtown, NJ. But, it was spinning the vinyl along with my friends on a Saturday night with a few beers that was so good!
