I know everyone here salivates every time a pair of a well known nike shoe converts to a golf shoe.

 

This company sells a system to convert any pair.

 

Has anyone tired this, seems interesting.

I do not see how these will possibly last longer than a round in softer rubber soles.

I think youd be able to feel the posts from the spikes in most shoes

yeah it sounds like it wouldn't work but I am truly interested in hearing from someone that has tried them, cant see to find any reviews online.

I got mine in last week. Haven't decided what shoes to put them in. So wet and sloppy by me I might be stuck wearing my vapor storms until 2020.

 

My thoughts are either black on black converse all stars or some black Nike dunks

I purchased a pack of these to put on a pair of Jordan XI that I had laying around. While installing I twisted off 5 of the spike ends so I had to drill them out and install a metal screw. I did drill a larger pilot hole than what was suggested and still had this problem. However once installed they looked great and I could not feel the spikes whatsoever when walking on them. Now once I put them on to play..... I didn't even make it to the putting green before the first one came off (no biggie it was just one and it was one that I had installed a metal screw in) but by the turn I had lost 6 or 7 spikes total from both shoes. Needless to say I changed shoes and didn't bother with trying to fix them. Great idea but not built for the course!

Doing this might have lead to them falling out so easily.

Actually they suggested drilling a larger hole. The first 2 I installed I drilled the smaller recommended size pilot hole for flat surface shoes such as Vans or Jordan 1's and the install was dang near impossible! this is when I twisted off 3 of the spikes. After that I drilled a larger pilot hole which was suggested by them and install was a little easier, however I still twisted off 2 more. Maybe they work better on flat surface shoes? but i would save my money or be prepared to wear them for 1 round and check behind you after every step you take.
