Z Star year identification

Any of the Srixon gurus have a list of the markings (or box style) to identify what year ball is what?

 

I have a stock pile of balls and I’ll never ever use them all and was curious as to which are which.

SpinSkin v1.0 was 2013.

Funny, I was going by the branding on the box, they weren’t marketing it on the front until later. They just have it on the back of the box on the ‘13.

Just by looking at the dimples, I can tell it's a HUGE upgrade from 13 to 15.

They have come a long way.

Now if they will stop the damn $20 a dozen promo, they might actually make some money.

I have some 2009 and 2011 versions, 2009 markings are like 2011, with arrows but no dots.

I have a bunch of 2009's too.BTW, back then the firm version was known as Z-Star X. Can't remember why they switched to XV terminology. The yellow ones are the most durable ball I have ever played.

You can just look at the dimples and calculate the fluid dynamics and ball flight laws in your head ??

about right? Yeah, the X was legendary, loved that ball due to super tough durability & great driving ball, spin...what's that... :D

What yr is this (with the star)? It’s pretty old, very similar to the 2009 cover

My guess is that is a tour only stamp from 2009/2010.

Nope. That is from 2010 when they released the yellow version. I still have over a hundred of them (both z*star and x version) and they were all bought retail.

I was just coming back to say that I think they were retail. I know I bought a ton on clearance at dicks back then. Finally almost finished with them. Super durable but I find that I like the 2015 a lot. Have a ton of this years now too. They are such a great ball.
