Best Stand Bag for Cart Use

Pockets are great. Love that they are much bigger than the Ogio and Hoofer I had previously. It’s a pretty sharp bag. Very well constructed and virtually no club tangle

I would definitely give the bag a look if you’re in the market for one. They are also a really light considering with all of the clubs in them

Yeah I was just looking online at them... I was looking at the Lite, but it's only .4 lbs lighter... for that I'd just go with the regular Flex Tech. Got too many bags now, trying to sell at least one off, and my Jones has a broken zipper thanks to a determined squirrel, so once I make room, I may pull the trigger. Thanks for the input!

Finally got my hybrid 14 out to the range last night. Bag did great. Fairly light, did well carrying with just the single strap setup as well. Clubs went in and out pretty easily while on its legs. The clubs do have a little resistance going in and out, but they’re not snagging or tangling. I think it just needs some break in. So far it’s eveything I wanted other than the name on the side, mostly because I have nothing Titleist in my bag lol.

I bought Hybrid 14 earlier this year and have really liked it. I like stand bags that work well on carts. I also have converted to a single removable strap which I store in the jacket pocket. I set my clubs up more traditionally.

I wanted to set mine up like yours, the normal stand bag setup, but decided to try it with the cart bag layout. I never walk so I went opposite of you. But your way looks better for sure. Do you find accessing the irons behind the woods on the cart to be a pain?

No. It’s the way I’ve always done so it’s natural to me. Cart bag set is unnatural and I’m a bit of a traditionalist.

My ideal Stand cart bag is a C130-S with the base that moves instead of the plastic sticking out like all SM bags. I really like the separate putter well and the 14 way divider.

 

Does a bag like this exist?

We’re talking about bags in the $200ish range for the most part. Vessel is like $350. It might be better, but you’re paying a lot more for it. I just won’t pay that much for a bag. Also, I’ve heard a lot of bad reviews on them talking about the legs not folding back in all the way. For a $400 bag, I’d expect it to work right. This is what I learned during my research.

Any suggestions for something similar to the bigger stand bags you guys are looking at without the 14 way dividers? I want more pockets than the traditional stand bag without all the dividers. I hate trying to find the right slot everytime.

Im screwed because i refuse to go 14-15 dividers a d it seems thats the way manufacturers are heading for stand/cart bags.

 

Hope the new 2020 releases help solve that
