Setting up alerts for the BST

Is there any way to set up a keyword alert for something being posted in the BST? I tried setting up a google alert but that didn't work. Is there a browser plugin or anything that would email or notify me when certain keywords were triggered in the Classifieds on WRX?

create a gmail acc for wrx i.e. coryhrwrx. Subscribe to the entire classified forum.

set up a rule to forward what you are looking for to your main email acc. hope this helps.

I have asked this very question before, just after conversion of the site to this new format. But how do you subscribe to a forum? All I see is how to “follow” a forum, but see no way to get emails for new post etc. as it stands I wondered what “following” a forum does, I see no change by doing so. Please explain as I have been wanting this since conversion.

Same here. Email alerts for classifieds was the #1 reason I used golfwrx so much previous to the site change. Been awful not having email alerts for new ads so if there’s a workaround to get this back would love to know the method.

With the new update, it appears you can now follow the entire Classifieds forum. But I’m not seeing anything about notifications of followed forums.

I'm not seeing any change either. They mentioned that some features were turned off until system is stable.

What I just noticed is that if I mark a forum as book marked, it does not seem to keep that setting.

Vanilla is rewriting a notification engine. It supposedly is done and will be released soon. This will allow email notifications to work like the previous board.
