if you are buying an iron as a one off and it’s just a 4 iron and you need something fast..... hard to go against a P790

Callaway XForged Utilty 21 degree.

They list it as a 3 Iron but I replaced my 4 iron with it. So good I pulled my hybrid out of the bag! A lot easier to hit clean and straight then any hybrid I have ever had. And I am a 20 handicap.

I love my 716 ap2 4i off the tee (set 4i). Barely use it off the deck, but love it for teeing off par 3s.

I was playing in the Poconos last summer, morning before a group outing. I nailed my 4i off the tee. Since they had the closest to the pin set up, I measured it... 4' 6". Too bad it wasn't my event.

But I took home bragging rights not only bc of the distance, but I was the only one who nailed the green from my group (and they're all way better than me). I hit 3 out of 4 par 3s greens with my 4i that day.

Big fan of the z585. But for just off tee the u85 is hard to beat. Also tried TMB & GAPR LO. U85 was the best performing for me.

Has some offset, but I love my G410 crossover 4 iron. Makes a great tee-shot club and forgiving for those long par 3s.

U500 is pretty great. Looks more like a traditional iron with a thin top line and minimal offset. Also, the hot metal pro has a lovely shape and great ball speed.
