Calling all Flextech owners...

Do you know if there are any Flextech bags out there that does not have the Flextech logo on the side?

I've just bought a Black FT Lite Custom 2019 from Amazon however it seems to be missing the small Flextech logo running up the side of the bag. Custom FlexTech Lite Stand Bag | TaylorMade GolfEverything about it seems legit but I haven't as yet seens any other FT without this logo.

Theyre just unbranded bags meant to be used for embroidery/custom logos etc. They are sold at wholesale to embroidery warehouses but sometimes people can buy them like you did.

I had the charcoal and it didn't have the flextech logo. One of the main reasons I bought it.

Good to know mine isn't the only bag out there like this.

Spoke to TMAG UK today who said it should have had the Flextech logo but it could have been one of the early runs which may not have had the logo.

Now I kinda like that plain gray.... hmm how are the TM straps? Full length dividers?

Full length box dividers and the straps are very padded.

I previously had the hoofer 2017 and this feels much better to carry. Feels like it rests more naturally on my back as I was always fighting the adjustments on the hoofer straps to try and get it comfortable.

Where can you get that in the US?

I got it off ebay, quickly sold it though (for a nice profit). I always find things wrong with a bag. The water bottle pocket on this one was a pain. Stuff in the large ball pocket blocks the water bottle pocket, very annoying when walking. A few other things I didn't like, but it is a good bag. Just prefer the Sun Mountain 2.5+ for ease of use and it's much lighter.

Ah, so this has got the brain cogs ticking again. Was it an ebay store from an authorised dealer or was there a chance it could have been a fake?

100% real. TM sells blank bags for golf club logoing, etc.

I just wonder who these particular models are produced for as TM UK seem to think that all of the Custom bags i.e. for club logos etc should at least have the Flextech logo as per their site:

Just curious, what is it about not having a FlexTech Logo that makes it more appealing than the standard bag?

From my point of view the appeal was that it didn't have a large Taylormade logo on the bag.

All images of the bag I've seen had the Flextech logo on the side which I was fine with so I was suprised when mine turned up without this logo causing me some concerns around authenticity even though it looks legit.

I do prefer it without the Flextech logo but even TaylorMade can't explain why I've received one with it missing and the only other bag I've seen without one now is brew4eagles

That's interesting. I think I also remember seeing a "bag tryout" thread a few weeks/months ago with one Flextech Crossover, one other bag, and I think an all black 2018 Flextech Lite with no logo as well.

There were several on ebay when I got mine a few months ago. Seller I got it from was a PGA Professional.

My Flextech bag had the logos on the side, took 20 minutes to peel them all off, now mine is logo free. I think it’s just heat applied vinyl.

Of all the bags I looked at yesterday at PGASS, the flextech lite impressed me the most. The gray one unbranded looked the best to me. The weight, legs, pockets, umbrella holder and straps impressed me more where ever other bag had a bigger compromise for me.

 

I think it’s down now to it and the vessel. Wish i could see one of them in person.

Are the Flextech actually full length dividers? Or are they 3/4 length like Ping?

I think the lite has full length dividers.

Man, I’m getting tired of being indecisive. It’s getting time to pull the trigger. This one is getting awfully close to being the one.

Why?

It shares space with the large ball pocket. So when you pull the bottle out stuff from the large pocket slides over and then the bottle won't go back in the pocket like it should. I found it to be maddening, but maybe I'm crazy.

I took this out for a round yesterday and I can't say I noticed any issues with the water bottle holder but it could just be setup dependant.

I use a large Camelback Podium as my bottle and I don't tend to fill the pockets if I'm carrying.

I will say though that I think the quality of the materials are not as good as previous hoofers that I've had but it's not far off and I was pleased that there was hardly and tangle(if at all) and the pockets are a dream to open in comparison.
