Why not used on tour?

I just wondered if there is any shaft experts here that may be able to tell me why there is so little play of the tour concept shaft on tour?
I know that Loren Roberts plays the shaft, but I really see no one else. I know that TT shafts is still the #1 shaft played on tour, but I wonder if they just group all that and there is more people that play it, but it is just not noted as such?

I love the shaft! I have tried them all and when it comes down to feel and consistency, this shaft really fits me!

Tour Concepts are my favorite iron shafts by far; I would be shocked if on one player has them in play.

Stewart Cink has been playing these shafts for a while as well.

Personally, I have been using this shaft for the last two golf seasons and it is one of the smoothest and consistent shafts I have ever tried. Believe me... I have tried them all from PX to Black Gold, Rifle, Flighted Rifle. This is a great shaft. I really have to wonder why it does not get more play on tour?

I know why it does not get much play out here and that is cost, but for the tour player... it costs him nothing!

True Temper cast this shaft as something very special and only available to those very selected installers. I have to wonder why all the hype and then nothing from the tour?

A little digression, but do you guys play the shaft in wedges? How do they perform in wedges? I love Nippon 1050 X so much in my irons so I don't think I'll switch to the TC for the irons, but I'm putting TC in my wedges as soon as they arrive. From the description of the shaft, I just thought they might be great in wedges. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Sorry, I cannot comment on the higher lofted, specialty wedges. I have only tried them in my irons and love them.

I have found that the S400 seems to work very consistently well in the sandwedge and I have stuck with it.

The Tour Concept, although smooth feeling, is a higher trajectory shaft. The tour guys, for the most part, have plenty of launch. They're usually playing the x-100 in Dynamic Gold (most played iron shaft on tour) for it's low launch and weight.

is it really that high launching compared to the ttdg x100 that is the x1 tt tour concepts?

I play these in my wedges and they are perfect. It's the best shaft I have played.

 

I don't understand the tour usage numbers either but I just don't buy the "hit to high" arguements.

Actually most tour players are playing X1 of X7's.

The Tour Concept shaft does not launch that high. It does feel very smooth though. I imagine it might be the fact that they are flighted shafts.

I guess that is a good point that the tour players or most of them would really not need the "flighted" compliment that these shafts offer.

Not to sound too redundant, but these really are very nice shafts and they work great for me.
