Just got my custom Evnroll back from Labworx........KOBE!

I had the original silver color ER2 but really liked the new blacked out version so I called Evnroll to see if there was a trade in or upgrade program . There wasn’t one however they referred me to Labworx who does their finishing work.

I’m a diehard basketball fan and even though I’m not a Lakers fan in the least (Go Magic!), I can’t ignore the work Kobe put into the game and the impact he left. I had a completely different color scheme originally in mind and then the tragedy happened so I had a purple and gold change of heart to honor the man. I’m really happy with how it turned out.

DUDE! Incredible. Ddi you put the $40 rush shipping on? I sent mine to them about 2.5 weeks ago.. hoping to get it back soon. I sent them an ER5.

I've used them before and they do great work. That paintfill work looks excellent.

Thanks! No I didn’t rush cause I had a backup putter (or four). Total turnaround was just over 3 weeks.

My only regret is not getting any custom stamping done. Mamba? Mamba Mentality? 2 8 24? Kobe?

Awesome.. So I should probably get my invoice by next week then. I'm LH so I sent a stock ER5 and requested to get it murdered out so theoretically, I could have the only non tour issue lefty black ER5 in the world B-)

....unless somebody else has done the same.

Badass! Did they steer you towards the new GenX Black Armor that hasn’t technically been released yet?

Also, I just checked the dates again and from the day they received my putter to the day I got it back, it was 26 days.

I don't think so... I basically just wrote them and said, "gimme the black ER5 job that you normally do, except no paint fill at all anywhere, except for the R on the heel.. leave/make that Red" . They said to fill out the form and note all that on there , lol.

 

They sent me the "your putter has been received" email feb 5. so... theoretically I could have it by early next week.

I would assume all black putters will have their new armor coating. There wasn’t an additional charge for it and it’s what they’re using on the Evnroll blacked out retail putters.

How much did you pay for this?

I am from Europe and are having crazy expenses in shipping along the price at the shop...

Mine ER2B is having problems with the black paint and Evnroll refered me to Labworx in USA 🤷🏼‍♂️

Just coming across this amazing putter while doing some research on putter refinishing companies. How has the putter held up for durability after a 1.5 years? I heard some people were saying a DLC finish(Golf Garage's black finish) was the way to go but labworx coating looks really solid every time I see pictures of it. Thanks!
