Mid Am-Senior Am success for average joes

I'm currently pursuing the Senior Am path right now. Turn 47 next week so I have a long time to get ready. Current cap is 3.1. One advantage that I have over a lot of 20 and 30 somethings now is natural swing speed. I have always had it growing up. I'm sure playing hockey through my youth helped in that. I was always the smallest kid (5'8, 165 lbs as a HS Senior) but had one of the hardest shots. Fast forward to today. add in about 60 lbs, and vastly out of shape, I have significant room to improve in that area.

One major hurdle for me is to learn to work the ball both ways. I play a significant cut and am virtually unable to draw the ball (on cue, that is). I have a terrible OTT move that will prevent me from getting any better without significant practice. Not able to practice a ton because of constant tendonitis that I get in my hands.

So long story short is I think with work I have game to get where I want to be, but it is gonna be a LOOOONG road.
