Best Ball for High Swing Speeds

Higher swing speed, driver 115-118, what ball would you suggest? Not looking for distance but more spin with the irons. Right now play the AVX, have tried the TP5 and Chromesoft. Any help would be great! Thanks!

Hey Jt, I’m no fitter though with those ss numbers you could try the new 2020 Bridgestone Tour B line. I’ve been playing the Tour B XS line the last few seasons now and it has great durability one ball lasts forever, super in the wind, rolls true on the greens even with a insert putter.

It's a very individual thing. But ProV1X has to be at the top of the list as well as the Tour B XS

Like the above post, balls perform differently between players. For me, according to a recent fitting session on trackman, the 2020 Bridgestone X and Prov1x are the two best peforming for me with the Snell MTB black and TP5x a close second.

Thanks guys. Appreciate the input. I’ve been thinking about trying the Tour B line- never really tried many Bridgestone balls so am anxious to see how they perform. Low spin off the tee and high spin with the irons. I’m playing the P790s right now and they are very low spinning so I am hoping to make up for it with ball selection. ??

Bridgestone BX for me. Best ball I’ve ever played.

Titleist ProV1 will probably be perfect fit. More spin with irons than AVX, still has a soft feel, plenty of distance. AVX isn't really designed for high swing speeds either, so you should really give the ProV1 a trial.

If you are looking for a higher flying, high spinning ball for high swing speeds you can do a lot better then the AVX you currently are playing.

It is designed for low launch, low spin and being how soft it is, lower swing speeds.

 

B XS, ProV1x should be at the top of your try list..
