No one is talking about the new Tour Edge EXS Pro quipment?

Made the decision to add the EXS Pro 3 wood to the bag, now have the EXS Pro driver, 3 and 5 woods in play. Enjoying my choice. I can add that  the fairway wood upgrades are my  least enjoyable task.

Which is why for myself, its  almost a whole season endeavor. Will keep the Sim , for now, the adjustability has its place for some courses I play, but will decide once the EXS Pro 3 wood visits those very courses.

I'll have to keep an eye on the EXS Pro driver.    Right now I'm really considering the Epic Flash Sub Zero through Callaway Pre-owned - but if the EXS Pro drops down to the same price,  it will be really tempting.

EXS Pro 20* hybrid has been so consistent for me I'm adding a 16* to see if it can take the place of a 4-wood.

The TE EXS Pro Forged irons made the final cut in a fitting.  They went up against Callaway Apex and Miura TC201.  All were within 3 yards of each other in carry distance and total height and spin differences were negligible for me.  From appearance, the TE had a thinner sole and less offset than the Apex and the Miura -- seemed to be targeted at a different player. Don't want to say a "better" player.  But maybe someone that doesn't like offset or that doesn't do well with a thick sole. 

 

TE feel was way better than Apex and a push with Miura.  Hard to believe the feel .  TE is significantly less expensive than Miura.  Ended up going with the TE.  If Miura and TE were the same price then maybe would have gone with the Miuras.  In the future I will be looking for a set of used TC201s in the BST and eyeing an update on the Apex.  

 

If you are going to knock TE as a knock off of the Apex, then its hard not to say the same about the Miura TC 201.

I've got a Pro driver on the way so will let you know how it goes. Once it gets here it will be up against the Mav sub zero, so hoping to get started next week before the real wet, crappy days start.
