Taylormade SIM - Backweight for Lefty's?

Hello - I am looking to increase the weight of my SIM driver and I would like to increase it to the back similar to how the SIM Max has a heavier back weight. 

 

Does anyone know where I can buy a 17 gram back weight that fits a Left Handed driver? Billy Bobs states that theirs will only fit RH head and TM only sells the front weights which I have already purchased.

I would suggest lead tape, but 17 grams is a ton of weight. I added 3 grams of lead tape to mine so it matched my M3 driver head weight (201 grams).

I don’t think it’s that much to be honest. My Ping LST came with a 16g weight  to get it to D4 and most SIM Max have a 15g weight

I thought you were adding 17g to the head. What does the back weight weigh now?

I’m adding a 17 gram weight but the stock one in the SIM heads are 12g I believe. 
 

I have not been able to find a back weight in Lefty though only see them sold as RH only.

To add 5 grams you could add hot melt to the rear of the head, add lead tape (similar to what I did here), or add another sliding weight to the track. 
 

Considering the head weighs about 200 grams, I doubt the exact placement of 5g will make a big difference to the overall COG.

I totally agree with you about adding lead tape easy solution and could even add hot melt, but if there is a screw I just figure why not use one. I did order a front weight at 13.5g off the TM site but a little more weight in the back is what I want as well. 
 

I’ll try lead tape if I can’t get a LH weight but I was looking for options

Sorry to bump an old thread but has anyone found heavier backweights for LH Sim Max drivers yet? Like a dummy I now realize why I've been struggling to control  mine, it's coming out to about C5 swingwieght 🤦🏽‍♂️, so I need to add about 17ish grams. I could just do lead tape but I'd imagine it would be A LOT of lead tape.
