Shaft tip size question

Recommended Posts

In the Srixon Shaft Replacement charts, the cells are blank for 2009 Z Steel fairway wood hosel and butt diameter.

If you have the wood on hand, take it to a golf shop and have them measure the tip with their gauge. Most drivers and woods are .335, but on occasion a company makes a long club with the old 0.350 hosel.

What's In The Bag (Summary)

Driver:  Calla XR16 Pro set 11.5°  ||  Fairways:  Tour Edge XRail 4W + 7W or Calla Alpha 815s set 16° and 21°

Hybrid:  Cobra FlyZ 4H  ||  Irons:  Tour Edge CB Pro Tungsten 4i-9i

Wedges:  Calla MD3 / 48° and 54°... MD4 / 58° ||  Putter: Ping Sigma G Tyne (face-balanced)

Ball: Calla SuperHot (Orange preferred)

Anyone have any idea what the tip size is for a Srixon Z Steel 12.5 3 wood?  I have seen some info that it's a .350, but my experience has been that many fairway woods are .335.  Any help would be appreciated.

If you are asking because you want to buy a shaft for it,  just get a .335 shaft (most modern shafts aren't available in .350 anyways) and if it does end up being .350, you can always use a shim (wont cause any problems at all).

But based on it's age and the fact that it looks like Srixon didn't move to .335 hosels until 2014 - it most likely is a .350 hosel.
