Thanks! They’re from Seamus Golf. They have some great designs. Really happy with the quality and price, comparatively. I had Rose and Fire before these, but I like the simplicity of these much more.

My neighbor just told me he gets together on New Years day for a round, so my son and I will join this year.

 

He said the weather makes it interesting, I think it will be a blast.

I try playing year around if the weather permits it.  I like playing I the morning so frost becomes an issue.   Until COVID hit I had played about 12 plus month with at least a round in the month.  I am down to about once a week now.

I thought the golf would be gone, but here it is 64* F today, and no golfer in his sound mine would turn down a round of golf. Played so-so game, but I did have fun. My playing partner struggled more than I did, oh well.  He thought he had a chance till I holed out a lob shot!!

Northeast is looking rough this week. My daughter is in Maryland, and she has snow, lots of snow!

I haven't gotten 9 full  holes, but I got 4 today, 4 yesterday, and I hope to get at least 4 tomorrow. As long as it isn't actively raining, I will play. I just wish I could get a longer stretch.

I played 3 holes on Friday. 5, 6, and 7. I hit 3 drives and 3 approach shots on each, so it's almost like playing 9 holes. I had an appointment and had about an hour, that only took 45 minutes, so it worked out nice.

 

The club is on the way to my office if I take the long way. Because there aren't many playing right now, I have been able to drop in and hit some. It's way better than the driving range.

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday look to be the last dry days of the year, so long lunches and 10:00 tee times will be happening. This MIGHT be it. 🤣

Today was glorious. The greens are pretty fast, though. 🤣

Played today and walked nine. I use a clic gear 1.0 and my friend has one as well. It hit 60*F today. Halfway through the extra shirt came off.  There was some wind, but it died down later, just a beautiful day.

Your concerns are valid - playing often can damage your body despite how much you enjoy golfing, especially during colder seasons. It is best to take a break when necessary, and consider hitting the range only on favorable conditions for a healthier approach while still maintaining your skills.

I might give it a go next week as it will be close to 50*F. I only play nine, so noon on most likely.

I live in Indiana and it seems my work days are nice and days off are cold.  Haven't been able to play for 2 weeks, but Monday is supposed to be 44F, so I will definitely try to get out there.  Hopefully it isn't 20+ MPH winds or anything.  I hate playing on simulators, but it feels like I will have to do so more this winter.
