So many imbedded videos won't load for me. Is it the site, me, or the poster?

So many videos posted as of late appear in the thread as a black screen with a "play" button icon with a line through it. IOW, the video won't show/load.

 

Is that a site issue, or something on my end, or an issue on the poster's end (video type, the way the link is posted, etc.)?

 

I'm on a Mac using Safari (version 11 -- so I know it's not the latest, but...). 

 

It's not EVERY video, but it seems to be half of them. And at times it's clear that I can't see the video, but some other posters can.

On this page you see a video posted by El Macho. I can see him in a face on view and the video plays normally.

 

On the previous page, also posted by El Macho all I see is the black bar that has the video controls BUT NO VIDEO.

 

I asked El Macho about it later on page 3 and he said he posted them the same way.

 

Any ideas ?

I viewed the "Page source" in both Chrome and FF and the page source is DIFFERENT for those 2 videos.

 

On page 3 the poster says he posted them both the same way so it appears as though there might be an issue in the board software OR he didn't post those videos the same way.

 

I have no idea why YOUR iMAC display them BOTH properly and mine doesn't. I am running the latest OS, "Big Sur".

 

So given the difference page source that might account for why I see a black control bar for one and the actual video for the other but that doesn't explain why YOU can see both of them and I can't.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

As for lag: I've tried the drills by meandmygolf, Clay Ballard, and Eric Corgono, but I don't seem to be able to convince my body to "create lag" and good shots at the same time. If anyone has any recommendations given my swing, I would be very grateful.

Not seeing an issue.
 

Looks to be browser and device specific. I don’t see anything that can be changed or had been changed that can be addressed at the server level. 
 

I see a video embedded through YouTube and another uploaded directly.
