LA Golf Putter Shaft Vs. Stability Shaft

Anyone have any luck using the BST in a double bend shaft?

With the stability, you can install in any style hosel because you have the option of cutting off a portion of the existing shaft and installing it into the stability graphite "tube".

 

With all of the other graphite shafts on the market, you need a female style hosel, such as a plumbers neck. It can work on a center shafted putter as long as its a hole in the center of the putter. If its a center shafted over the hosel style, won't work, only Stability will work. 

I am looking at this now. Switching putters for the first time in a decade. Only person to ever type that on WRX?

Have the OG Golo Select mallet, which is so old it's now popular again, and I am replacing it. Been obsessing with the Ping app comparing an X12 and a X5S. The X5S (Center shaft) is like a 1 HCDP better consistently in the Ping app. I want either of these shafts and happy to find this thread.

Not sure on the X5s but it is quite possible it could be a .390 tip.  I did replace the shaft on the x5.5 and it was a .390 tip.

I called Fairway Jokey after this post, They are pretty sure the X5 is .390. Basically said Scotty is trying to prohibit people from touching their putters and everything is bespoke these days.

Yup, that broke the tie for sure!!!

Now I need to decide if I pop my shaft off, mail my head to scotty, get replacement shaft, and then do the stability shaft... or risk the stability shaft without a parachute...

Actually pretty easy to install if you have epoxy and a torch.

huge fan of the stability -- the LAGP was good but the price was...yea. 

 

went stability and love it. had to get a 75g counter weight (superstroke grip) and 25g weights in the head to get it to feel right.

Anyone try one of these shafts in a white hot OG 7Ch? I’d love to hear about experience and any differences compared to stroke lab shaft.

With the SOHO being available in a .390 tip now, how hard would it be to put on a Scotty 5.5 slant neck? Any sanding of the spud necessary?

Just installed a soho on my super select golo 6.5 and did not need to sand the spud at all.  Just had to twist in the putter shaft before putting it all together and it was a perfect fit.  The combo has been solid for me the past 2 rounds, hopefully it is not a honeymoon phase.
