Callaway Pre-owned website offering 20% off Asian Authentic clubs.

I received an email today from Callaway Pre-owned offering 20% off Asian Authentic clubs.  Anybody know the difference?

I believe Asian market clubs are typically shorter/lighter.

I got the same email yesterday and was wondering the same thing.  Here's the website text describing the Callaway Asian Authentic Epic Flash fairway wood: 

"Our Japanese Version clubs were crafted with precision to meet very detailed specifications and needs of the Japanese golfer. Epic Flash Fairway Woods feature groundbreaking new Flash Face Technology to help golfers of every level and swing speed get more ball speed and distance. JV clubs are slightly lighter than our standard model, and offer a slightly closed club face at address."
 

I can't see how an entire nationality can be profiled as slow swing slicers.  But what I do know is labeling a club as "Asian Authentic" seems to give Callaway license to upcharge over the price of the non-Asian version.  I've never really heard of "Asian" version clubs; I've always been familiar with Japanese market clubs, most specifically clubs and components made and sold in Japan by Japanese clubmakers.  I have no doubts that the Asian Authentic and US versions of the Callaway clubs comes off the same assembly line in China and/or various other locations in Asia.

A lot of the clubs in JV section have graphite design vr shafts and the clubs are listed in like new condition at good prices.  Any idea if the shafts are real deal Graphite Design or like the clubheads are they altered to something different than you might get off a US retailer normally. Wondering if the hosel adapter for the JV version is the same as the US version too.  If these are the same just for the shaft it's a great deal.
