Odyssey Ten 2 Ball Tour Authentic at PGA Superstore

Anyone else come across these today?  I just picked one of these up and didn't know they were being released.  Maybe it's only available at PGA Tour Superstore or something?  Correct me if I'm wrong.  Either way, was bummed that they didn't have a 35" version so snagged a 34" one and am going to put an extension in.

I bought it online, but there are pics in the link I posted.  It has the OG White Hot Insert with the Red Stroke lab shaft.  Looks good from what I can tell.

I believe that's exactly what it is. There's a label on the grip that says "Limited Edition" but I got an email saying it's "Tour Authentic" so who knows.

 

Saw it and rolled it a bit yesterday. Rahm's using it today (and likely has been for a while)

 

Differences

 

New one has the current White Hot OG insert instead of the microhinge

 

Has the current White Hot Stroke Lab shaft (red) instead of the current Ten gray SL shaft.

 

It's face balanced (not sure if a toe hang version will follow)

 

It has the slightly thinner grip of the current toe hang Tens. The only Ten combos I've seen are FB with fat grip and toe hang with not-so-fat pistol grip. 

 

Graphics on the new grip are a bit different (red lettering).

 

Only saw it in the 2-ball version, not the lined non-2-ball nor the 2-ball Tour (lined) version.

I’m surprised this isn’t getting more traction with you wanna be tour stars..in reality they should of just made this putter with the white hot face from the beginning..

There is a sticker on the grip that says "Limited Edition". I believe it also says that on the bottom of the club head.

 

I'm guessing the reason the link I posted doesn't work is that the release was supposed to be June 1 and PGATSS put them on their website and on their shelves early.

 

The did the same thing with the soon-to-be released Cobra putters with the Sik faces. They had a dozen of them on the shelves for a week or so and then they were gone. One of the salesmen told me they weren't supposed to have them out yet and that's why they weren't there any more.

Very interesting that Rahm doesn’t use this putter anymore. He moved into a regular 2 ball ten with microhinge insert and a standard steel shaft. I wonder why
