Whoops.       You took that pretty hard and I certainly was not meaning to cause such a reaction. It's just RS we have a schedule to keep and if all are not compliant with the deadlines it makes for more work for the two of us that are manning the controls. You are correct we do not have any money involved in this contest. Points do matter though because they provide bragging rights to the dudes at the top, and we all do our damn best to avoid ending up the basement dweller. I'm the guy who can never finish even middle of the pack in the standings with our NFL picks.  Greenemachine, Doc, and P48 are our sage pro football bettors and have shown dominance for a few seasons now. Bet their picks weekly all football season long and you will have decent chance at beating your man or Draft Kings!  If you are into fantasy learn from Doc, he has won multiple fantasy leagues most years for over a decade. Greenemachine has won our contest for two years in a row, and P48 is just really smart. 😀  

I am enjoying having a stellar season thus far with my PGA Tour picks and I hope my good selections continue on through the summer PGA Tour events. 

You can step away for a while and rejoin us at any time RSonn.  I will also at this time extend an invitation to you should you want to rejoin us in the fall when we start our season long NFL picks deal.  When I started the this thread and we became a group (we are currently in our 5th year and half of us have been here since day one)  I envisioned those involved making some picks/predictions weekly but also adding some fun content on top of that. 
This place is more of a cool clubhouse to hang out in than a SportsBook or serious betting club. Perhaps you thought we were something different?  Yes the thread involves weekly prognostication, but it too offers a whole lot more. We talk about our golf trips, weekly games, what we are working on, photos from business trips, equipment reviews, and can be found jawing about many different subjects.  We do love comedy of any sort a bunch around here.  😁

What in the hell is going on in the NFL? We have a man who felt entitled to make non consential contact with women who were hired with pre meditated intentions to do so.  A team that tried to accomodate him, and then turned on the guy when they were spurned by him.  Another owner who got into a dick measuring contest despite all the efforts his management made in rebuilding the Browns into a franchise on the cusp of being a playoff worthy team.  Offered up 240 million guaranteed, first round draft picks, for a guy who might not play this year or maybe even lifetime.  Not to mention Watson has rights to that guaranteed money.  He will sue the franchise.  These billionare owners must promote this kind of entitled behavior from Dan Snyder and his harrassment of female employees, now Cal McNair son of the owner Janice McNair who runs the Texans supposedly signed off on Watson's private massage parlor.  This is not normal behavior, he needs some serious help or intervention.  But when billionaires play up to this "Eyes Wide Shut" mentality that only the ultra rich seem to partake in, we will continue to poo poo this kind of conduct.  Thegood old Boys Club is very much a real thing  Just ask Jerry Richardson about his antics.  The guy even looks like a typical old windbag

Ah Mr. Q you are incorrect. That is a photo of the absolutely gorgeous Suzanne Pleshette. Being that you are one of the mainstays over on the 60's/70's music thread I find it puzzling that you mistook her as golfer Poston's better half?    lol

36 hours ago I began to check our thread for a pulse. blip blip blip was the steady mild score.  I have never seen the place so dead. I was kind of saddened. Tonight the joint started to jump again thankfully. 

 

Next week it is double points and the Old Guys rule 5 point bonus play 4th pick.

Things will be getting serious in Massachusetts ! It will be heightened energy because MAJOR !

Well I was actually, both have same last name. Didn't want to make it to obvious with actor Poston and Suzy P pic.  Hence just her. And your right she was older when married to him.
