Alright a few putter updates because I am a psycho. I am still committed to L.A.B. golf putters. I think the tech works and in general I hit more good putts. Also I am out on the MEZZ, it is the shape I like the best but I have struggled with every version of it; standard, max, armlock, steel shaft, accra shaft, for whatever reason just don’t perform well for me.  Enter the 2 new entrants in the putter thunder dome: LINK.1 and the Armlock DF 2.1. 
 

The LINK.1 is the most stable blade I have ever used. Has a softish feel and puts a great roll on the ball. Added bonus of hardly any forward press and get to use my beloved Garsen grip. Fits in the bag great and looks normalish. 

The Armlock DF 2.1 is like a putter

with training wheels. I don’t like how large it is and still getting comfortable with the setup BUT I feel like this setup helps to hit the least amount of bad putts possible.

Need to do an updated WITB but waiting on a couple of things to come in. In the meantime the custom leather headcovers came in and they look and smell amazing. Just something about that leather smell.

PING G425 SFT DRIVER w/ACCRA TZX 255: One of the longer serving clubs in the bag but hit this thing straighter than anything I have ever tried. Also love the ACCRA Cheyenne Woods shaft. As close to Tiger as I will ever be hahaha. 
 

CALLAWAY BERTHA MINI 1.5 w/ACCRA TZX 265: This one has also been in the bag for a while.  Great as a 2nd option off the tee and can be hit off the deck on a perfect lie which is probably the only scenario in which I should be hitting a 3 wood. 
 

PING G425 SFT 5W w/ACCRA FX 2.0 200F: High launching draw machine. 
 

PING G425 MAX 7W w/ACCRA FX 2.0 200F: New addition but quickly becoming the most reliable club in the bag. 
 

PING G425 5H & 6H w/ACCRA FX 2.0 200H: Jury is still out on 6H vs 6 iron but will never have a 5 iron in my bag again. 
 

PING G425 7-UW w/AWT 2.0: Love these, I think they feel and sound great with the balls I play but know some dislike them. Had a brief romance with a set of i210s but just don’t play enough to use those. 
 

PING GLIDE STEALTH 2.0 54.12 & 60.10 SS w/AWT 2.0: My all time favorite wedges but definitely intrigued by the S159s. 
 

L.A.B. LINK.1 w/LAGP P135: Playing this at 36.5” counterbalanced with a Garsen Max 15” grip. When I am on I putt really well but also feel totally lost with it occasionally. 
 

Scotty Cameron Pro Platinum Big Sur: Picked this up on a whim just because I figured it was the cheapest I would ever find a “tour” Cameron. I am shocked how great this thing is as an armlock. 500g headweight and 80* lie. Haven’t got it out on the course yet but love it indoors. 
 

PING WRX Redwood Piper S: This was my dream putter back in college but can’t putt worth a darn with it!

I emailed Garsen customer service and they put me in touch with Mr. Garsen and was able to purchase one that way. Super friendly all the way around.

Made a few changes and testing a new mini driver option. 
 

New putter is a PING Zing 2 PLD with TR Grooves. Reached out to PING and they had no info on it other than they made and it was obviously a custom hahaha. Not sure on headweight but this thing feels awesome. I am scared to post it in here as it normally dooms whatever putter it is to a terrible round. My game is getting better so I swapped out the SFT 5 Wood for the Max and trying to convince my self G425 irons are better for me than the i210s but then I hit them. Also picked up a Ping Rapture 3 wood mini driver these things are always hard to find and finally found one at a decent price. Need to change the shaft out but I do like the foot print.

Changing up my setup and got a few new things to try. 
 

PING G430 Max 10k - found one at a decent price and couldn’t pass it up. Early results are very promising. 
 

PING G430 Max 3 wood - realized there just wasn’t enough of a distance gap between the G425 5 wood and the 7 wood so decided to ditch the mini driver and the 5 wood and sub in the 3 wood lofted up with a shorter shaft so essentially a 4 wood. 
 

PING Custom PLD Tyne - thought this was my dream with a little more stability, the patina finish and the TR grooves but it couldn’t knock the Zing 2 so it is already off for sale.  
 

I have the components for my dream iron set in the mail…can’t wait to get them built, try them and then sell them for a massive loss on the bst.

It is gorgeous in person. I have owned alot

of high end putters and the PLDs are top notch. I have always thought I putted better with heavier, slight toe hang mallets but have been putting the best I have ever putted with a lighter, tons of toe hang, blade. If golf is crazy then putting is true insanity.

Finally was able to get the components in for my ideal iron setup. PING i210 6-U and custom color ACCRA ICWT95 shafts. Debating about buying another i210 U wedge and having it bent to Sand wedge loft ala Lee Westwood. Also wondering about getting some BB&F ferrules…unnecessary but if you are going to do the thing then you may as well do it.
