Mizuno wait time?

No, I ordered on that day, haven't heard back. My shop said Mizuno would ship to them directly though. I've set the expectation to myself that it'll be a next week thing at this point

I'm wondering if mizuno is not sending out shipping trackers to everyone because I called yesterday and they said those orders had all ready been shipped out

10 weeks for a custom 221 order.

 

I'm already on 6 weeks for my 223 order, but should be here next week.

Ordered a set of 223's with Project X LZ 5.5 shafts on 4/25 and they are ready to be picked up

Nope. I ordered through DD, so it is possible as has often been the case, that the irons will first go to DD and then on to me.  I don’t see anything yet in my fed ex tracking, so either way, they are not yet on their way to me.  But on a positive note, my P790 irons finally arrived today from TM, and my trade credit came through covering that set!

Scratch that, they arrived! I just need to pick up from the store (I'm based in the UK)

So, you ordered on 4/29 in the UK and your retailer has them now?  I wonder if those came from USA or if there’s a UK or EU shipping point on those.  If it’s USA, those had to have been completed by mid last week I’d think.

News from Canada!

 

Mizuno Canada is a seperate "thing" according to my guy in Golf Town who I always chat too, and they're now operating on a 7-8 week wait time.

 

So 2 of my clubs ordered the 24th of April should be with me middle of next week.

I'm guessing my wedge ordered on May 4th will be here first week of July then. 

 

We shall see!

That’s what happened to mine. They were sent to DD first who then ground shipped them to me.

Not sure, it's the biggest retailer in the UK (ironically called American Golf) so assume it comes straight from Japan

Yeah, I should assume the lead times won’t be the same for me in the midwestern US.  They seem similar though!

Finally got an update.  My 4/24 order of a Mizuno pro fli hi iron is even more delayed because the head is on back order so it will be at least another month before it ships.  
 

I will be canceling my order and I’m pretty annoyed with Mizuno for only saying this now.  Really poor customer experience to not say this earlier.  I ordered through PGATSS and they checked with Mizuno in mid May and Mizuno said it would ship at the end of May.  Then I asked PGATSS to check again at the beginning of June and Mizuno said my order would ship last week.  I’m a longtime Mizuno customer and this may make me change my mind when I’m ready for my next iron set.
 

After doing some research I think I’ll be ordering a New Level NLU-01.

Midwestern US is probably a huge market, you guys all have a 9 hole golf course in your back yard right?

Yep, I did in fact receive my shipping notice from DD today.  Scheduled to arrive in NJ on 6/21.  So, about 7 weeks from order to delivery to me (which would have been less without the middleman).  

 

Virtually identical set to the P790 irons I just received from DD—MMT 105 stiff shafts in both sets.  So, now I’ll play the P790s for a couple of rounds this coming weekend, and then give the 923 HMs a run the following week.

Haha!  There were a lot more 20 years ago, some consolidation now unfortunately.  Pretty easy to find a tee time though, make the trip!

Ordered a ST-X 230 Driver with custom shaft on 6/10. Just received estimated delivery date of 8/4. Ordered JPX 923 irons std lofts and lies with stock shafts the same day and canceled that order. Not waiting that long for stock irons. Went to Carls GolfLand online last night and ordered the irons. They already shipped today with delivery in 2 days and I’ll pay a few bucks to put my preferred grips on rather than wait 8 weeks for them!

My retailer says Mizuno is the most egregious of all the vendors and counts delivery estimates in months, not weeks.

 

If I wanted a custom set today I'd buy a set off the rack and DIY the build.  And if I weren't skilled, have a local club maker replace the shafts or whatever.

04/27 order received today. Absolutely beautiful and to the first glance everything up to spec. Keep in there. The satisfaction after the long wait is unmatched.

I ordered 5-GW. Also ordered from golf galaxy on 04/27 and my packing slip in the box said the ordered was placed on 05/01.

My 4/26 order just landed at Club Champion’s build shop.  Just over 7 weeks. I hate how club champion acts as a middle man and now has them sit “in line for build shop” when they aren’t building them - they’re a stock set of 4-PW HMs with nipon modus 120s shafts.  I should have them next week.

I ordered my HM HL's on April 25.  They were delivered to the golf shop this morning.  So, 52 days.
