Mizuno wait time?

Yep. You got it. The demo drivers we do have are generally stock stiff and or regular.   Now with a true WRX’er working on site.  There is always a supply of extra shafts laying around my office thst I have been known to throw in a demo head for someone 😬

Ordered 923 forged on 5/19. The irons arrived 8 weeks later. Pretty absurd, right? Well when I went to the store to get the clubs, instead of being left handed, they were right handed. Now I'm stuck waiting until hopefully today for my left handed irons. All told, I've waited about 10 weeks for these irons. As a first time purchaser of Mizuno, I'm far from impressed. But who knows, maybe it'll all be worth it as soon as I take them on the course...

I made the silly mistake of selling my old irons before I even ordered my new Mizuno 923 Forged 🫠

 

Ordered on 6/19 and haven't heard anything. Judging by some of you, I'm thinking (hoping) they go out early next week. However, some of these May orders just now shipping kind of scares me.

My ST-X230 driver components ordered 6/12 from custom fitting were delivered to CC build shop today. Was told it should ship tomorrow afternoon or Monday morning. Fingers crossed.

I can live with the 5 week order window, it's not ideal but is what it is. What is irritating to me is I've had a wrong spec delivered 2x in my past, once with TM and the other with Titleist. Both companies had the replacement club to me within 3 business days whereas Mizuno will take, at a minimum, 2 weeks. Both Titleist and TM worried first about getting me the correct club instead of Mizuno's approach of wanting to get the wrong clubs back first. That is incredibly poor customer service.

 

This is all coming from a guy who has only played Mizuno irons since 1997 and is about as loyal to their irons as it gets. However, reading this thread and having this experience has me strongly considering going in a different route when I finally replace the MP4's in 2-3 years.

 

Just got the replacements in from Mizuno. Overall it took 2 weeks from when I notified the retailer to when they arrived at my house which included the irons being sent overnight. Mizuno made it right which is all you can ever really ask for. Good luck / happy patient waiting to those still waiting on your orders...hopefully they come in quickly!

Just called Mizuno to get an update. The rep said that orders from 6/19 should have shipped in the last two days. I also specifically asked about 221 heads, 223 heads, Project X 6.5 shafts, and grips, and he said that none of those products are backordered. Assuming a 3-4 day shipping time, I should be getting a call from my builder next week.

Picked my 923 Tours up yesterday and they were ordered 10 June so for me it was about a 6 week wait time.

I can understand 6 to 12 week lead times if Mizuno is performing the assembly of the finished clubs, but 4+ weeks  to simply ship component parts seems unreasonable.

Totally agree with you which is why when I purchased the stock 923 HM HL’s I cancelled an order with a dealer the next day and went directly to Carl’s GL and got them in 2 days.

In Europe you cannot call Mizuno directly for an update about your order. All requests must be initiated by your reseller. I gave up waiting after 3 months and purchased Taylormade irons which arrived in 8 days.  Sadly, Mizuno is not the same customer focused company it was 10 years ago.

Just got the call. 221/223 combo set, 1 degree upright, standard length/loft, PX 6.5 with MCC Align grips. Almost exactly 6 weeks.

Played my hmp Monday and did not like them or get along with them at all. Sold them for what I paid and now waiting on zx5 mkii 5-aw should be 1-2 weeks.

Ordered a  custom JPX923 Hot Metal 54 deg Wedge via a big online store.  Order placed June 20th and box arrived today direct from Mizuno. I have received a lot of orders from Mizuno and all looked OK packing wise. Stickers on the box were correct order and specs. Box did feel  a bit light.  Opened it up and it was completely empty!  WTF?!?  That's a first for me.  Have contacted the store and am sure they will correct things but hopefully not another 6 weeks!

I just put an order in for my JPX 923 Tours last week, and the next day sent back some Taylormade Stealths I had stupidly bought before getting fitted. Now for the long wait with no clubs it seems.

My 06/26 order was delivered today.  Exactly six weeks.  Build quality looks good.  Asked for grey MCC+4 grips and got black/white..  No big deal.
