I’m looking to get fitted this week for new irons (I need a shaft change). I want the 225s but can’t wait 6+ weeks with the season dwindling down.

Ordered 221 pro recoil 95 with lamkin sonar wrap mid size 7-PW on 7/7 received them today 8/15… no notification about shipping they just magically arrived.. thank you UPS..

Ordered on July 3rd and have a shipping notification that they will arrive tomorrow (standard shaft driver, hybrid and utility). A day or two over 6 weeks for what, I would think, is a standard build. Nothing custom.

I did the same thing with HMP/Forged combo. Tested the shafts with the heads. Bought the specific irons I wanted off the rack, had the shop pull the heads, and order the shafts I wanted from Golfworks with rush delivery. They built them in house, and they were in my hands in a week. Cost a bit more, but the time was worth the money.

My 923 Sand Wedge just arrived today and has taken 2 months and it's still the wrong grip and they did not even install it.  But hey they included a sample box of 2 of their awful RB Tour balls so that's made everything good...

There's been several threads on this. I'm sure Mizuno reps see what is said on golfWRX. So the question has to be asked:

 

Is the company inept? Or do they simply think that their quality name can endure horrendous customer service? Such a strange thing to see. A company with high quality products who seem to be completely out of touch with the customer experience, or worse yet, just don't care. Weird.

I think it's probably a combination of ineptness, some big internal cost cutting and not giving a flying f&ck about their customers.  It's a crying shame as I love Mizuno irons and when you see the enthusiasm and professionalism of Voshall and then you realize there is an infrastructure of clowns and idiots behind him fulfilling the order....

 

Don't know if you saw my earlier post but the initial delivery I got from Mizuno was an empty box.  Yup.  All the specs and stickers on the outside correct but nothing inside.  And all packed and strapped correctly.  Then when notified of the issue it took them another 2-3 weeks to rectify the issue.  1 club with a stock shaft.  If that does not speak volumes of operations and customer service at Mizuno, GA  I am not sure what else will..

Insane. I went through a few issues when I ordered my HMP in October. Wasn't crazy about gapping, no biggie as I ended up doing a combo with Forged instead. But I ordered a HMP 5 iron in December. Stock shaft and grip as I was putting my own shaft in it. The shop got it in the middle of April. 4 months. Insanity. My shop was honest saying their delivery times are ridiculous so they gave me irons off their rack, pulled he heads and put my shafts in them.

Ughhhh that’s brutal. I placed the order last week through a certified retailer. I’ve followed up and called but they haven’t been able to get me an update. I guess I should lower expectations

I believe that for the past month Mizuno (and their retail distributors) have been quoting a custom order production-to-shipping time of 5 weeks.

My guess is that your order will ship 5 weeks from the day you placed the order.

I ordered on July 12 and was told to expect about a 6 week wait and it just got delivered today (August 17).  The order was for a 3-iron, 4-iron, and 5-iron.  I received 2 4-irons and the 3-iron had the wrong grip so now I get to play the exchange game too.

On July 10th I ordered my set of JPX 923 Tour 5-PW, +.25" length Nippon 950GH Neo stiff, Tour Velvet Midsize grips. This set arrived today, August 17th, a total of 35 days from order to receipt.

yeah you won't hear anything for a while unfortuately. I got fit at the end of June and was told by the fitter to expect 6-8 weeks minimum. Driver arrived 7 weeks in, thankfully correct.

Ordered a set of Mizuno JPX 923 Tour 4 - PW 1* flat and 1/2 inch long with KBS Tour X on 7/18 and they arrived to the retailer today exactly 5 weeks later.

After Mizuno has shipped, what has been the lead time to get the clubs? Do they ship Fedex, USPS, UPS, standard, 2-day, etc.? I am just wondering what to expect once the clubs ship.

Good news here, boys.  Ordered jpx 923 forged gap wedge with custom loft, length, and lie - nippon 120s shafts.  Ordered July 21st through GG.  Shipped on august 21 and arrived today at my door, August 23.  4.5 weeks total.  Way faster than the 8 weeks turn around on my iron set.  Shipped fed ex and came fast.  Weird bit is that fed ex still says they havent scanned it (awaiting pick up is what it says).  But I have it and it’s all done right.

My set was shipped FedEx ground from Mizuno (Georgia) to me (California).

Thanks for the info. I was just curious. Mizuno said they would ship out yesterday (Aug. 23rd) and was hoping to have them for my game Friday. 

 

I received shipping today (Aug. 24th), they did in fact ship it yesterday through UPS and should be here tomorrow (Aug. 25th). I ordered Mizuno Pro 225 through Curated on July 30th. Standard L/L/L but custom shafts Project X 6.5 with midsize grips. If They do show up tomorrow (Aug. 25th), it will be a total of 26 days from order to receiving with a 2-day shipping time from Georgia to Texas.

Wanted to follow up on this to give Mizuno some credit as I just found out today that the place I ordered the clubs from messed up with the extra 4-iron.  They have ordered the 5-iron and I've been told to expect it in about 3 weeks

My clubs were delivered through UPS coming from Georgia to Florida.  They arrived 2 days after I got an e-mail notification saying they were ready to be shipped

Local shop in CT called Tuesday 8/22 to let me know HMP 4-P and S23 48* had arrived after ordering on 7/20. KBS Tour 120S +1/4” and 1* up with MCC +4 so nothing crazy.

The primary issue is that Mizuno is a Japanese company based 7,000 miles from its USA distributor. When the cat's away the mice will play.
