Mizuno wait time?

Placed an order for 225s last Tuesday. Standard lie and length, recoil 95 graphite shafts.  Anyone have a more recent experience on timelines to get it shipped? Really hoping it’s not 5 weeks.

Relative success story.

 

Custom order through Carl's on August 7th. Delivered September 1st. 3 weeks, 4 days.

 

223s w/ Modus 120x, +1/4", 1 up. Stock MCC grip, but +1/32.

 

Build quality not amazing. The shaft is not aligned logo-down. The grip is then aligned with the shaft (making it misaligned with the club face).

 

Probably the best we can hope for from them.

It looks like people have been calling Mizuno directly. If you ordered through a big box golf shop like PGASS or Golf Galaxy, can you still call directly? And will they give any real update on status or timing?

Placed an order July 31 with standard specs and Recoil 95s.  Shipped Aug 23. 
So like 3 1/2 weeks…

No shipping notification but the club fitter had them sent directly to me instead of the shop.

I do not believe any Mizuno employee will track down an order  placed via an independent retailer. However Mizuno employees will provide general information such as "orders placed on X date will be shipped 5 weeks from the date the order was received".

In other words, if you have an order date and call Mizuno the employee will likely tell you the forthcoming week that your finished order will be shipped.

Just checking in - Clubs were ordered August 1st, arrived to the pro shop yesterday in California. JPX 923 Tours with PX IO shafts, standard loft and lie. Seems like 5 weeks is the current wait time for builds.

25 days including shipping, which is what Mizuno told me for a single club.  Right shaft ✓, minus .25" ✓ and grip down ✓.  No 1° lie change I requested from the Dick's order menu.  I'll bet it just isn't an option with the JPX Fli Hi hybrid (although it supposed to be bendable) and the order sheet doesn't show it.  No biggie and it looks like I didn't need it anyway.

 

If you're ordering a full set, definitely call Mizuno directly a few days after placing your order just to double check the specs.

Got fitted by Tour Tolerance Golf around the start of August and had a blue box day during the week. 

Jpx 923 Forged with DG shafts and 2°upright.

Custom 4i Fli-Hi ordered 9/8. Already shipped and arriving Monday. Much better than the 225 experience, that’s for sure…

Best advice: Buy Mizuno off the rack, do your own re-shafting and lie adjustments.  Long waits and sketchy builds from the factory.

Exactly what I did. Bought off the rack from a great full service pro shop. They pulled the stock shafts and I let them keep them. In return they did the installs of the shafts I ordered through golfworks, for free. I ordered the shafts, dropped them off, and picked up my set the next day.

I ordered a set of 923 Tour irons and three new T24 wedges on 9/6. Sounds like I still have 3 or 4 weeks left waiting. Hopefully the wedges ship with the irons since I technically pre-ordered them.

I couldn’t wait…I wanted a combo set 225/223 pros. I ended up with a combo set from pxg 0317/0311p took less than a week. I also just got the t200/150s. Took 2 weeks. Gaming the titleist right now. They are super sweet.

Ordered 225s on 8/28 and they were delivered home today. 3 weeks and 2 days from order at a PGASS. Great turnaround!  Now let’s hope I hit them as well as I did in the store…

How do they look/feel? I only ordered mine yesterday but I'm buzzing to get them

Mizuno cancelled my order for the 225s today. I've been told by my fitter that they no longer have stock on the 223s and 225s in RH. They are not replenishing stock since their new irons will be released in the spring of 2024.

Got my 923 Tours today. 18 days from ordering which isnt too bad. I also got the new T24 wedges. Weird thing is they havent even charged my card yet and I had no shipping notification. I came home today and to my surprise they were sitting by the mailbox

oh geez.  so was I one of the last ones?  so I got mine within 3 weeks of ordering.  Pro 225s/UST Recoil 95 shafts.  Played 2x...love them so far.  Feel amazing.  They are longer, but a bit harder to tell today (it was 50 degrees and windy...everything was carrying less).  

 

i would have waited for the 245s, but feel like that's a March 2024 thing right now.

They were ordered on Wednesday of this week (September 20th). Was told today early in the afternoon
