Wilson owns Louisville Slugger and DeMarini. Both brands produce metal ball bats. The tennis division uses a variety of materials. If the golf team can’t build a great driver then they should find designers  within their family of brands that can. They have the capabilities they just haven’t done it. Hope this one works

I have a set of 1963 Wilson Staff DynaPower TurfRiders. Cool blade clubs and they are small!

It's not that they can't produce a "good" driver, it's just that they haven't made a world beater which is what they need to gain traction. Good to see they have the adjustable hosel back as I'm not sure why all their drivers don't have it and it was a miss in the D9.

I agree that they can but they haven't. Cortex could have been the one but they priced it too high relative to what the consumer felt a Wilson driver was worth.

Brining back the Dynapower nostalgia. Like it. Love my C300 forged irons and W/S wedges, but their wood(s) offerings have been just bad in comparison to seemingly everyone else.

Seemed like W/S was picking up steam, then maybe it was Covid that hurt them? Their (Golf) website is not that good either along with their soft goods offerings. Really disappointing, been a W/S fan ever since Paddy won his majors, but now....

The other thing with their clubs and some soft goods is that they've gone away with the 'Wilson Staff' moniker. Now it's just 'Wilson'. I fell that cheapens the clubs a bit. More like the 'Wilson' box sets you could by at Walmart. Wilson Staff to me was/is higher end clubs.

Only Wilson staffers with Dynapwr driver/woods listed as being in the bag are Kisner and Martin Trainer.  Interesting to see if others add it or the few using it move on to something else.  Looking forward to seeing Kisner's WITB from Pebble next week.
