Dear wrx’s

 

first post. I’ve picked up some beautiful Yururi wedge heads from TSG. I have 3 heads that need shafts. I play Nippon 120s in my Mizuno irons. My P wedge is my favourite club! When I’m swinging with good temp, I love the Modus 120s shafts.. looking for input to gel the wedges with my HMBS? Thanks for you’re help guys.

Yururi makes great wedges.  I have a Gekku LW that I game on occasion.

 

I have Modus 120X in my irons.  Typically game S400 in wedges, but I'm going to try Modus 125 wedge shafts for 2022.

 

Your starting point is probably Modus 115 wedge shafts.  Or S300.  

 

But (before I hear it from the peanut gallery) you should probably get fitted, rather than blindly put shafts in the wedges and see if they work...

Here is an ex sm5 wedge flex shaft at 118grams as a reference point so above suggestion is spot on.

There's an argument for putting the same shaft/spec in your gap wedge 49/50/51/52. Some people use the same shaft all the way through their irons/wedges and some go a little heavier. All down to personal preference.

I had Modus 125 Wedge shafts in a set of Yururi Tour Wedges I had, and I really liked them. Very Smooth. At the time I was playing DG S300 in my irons.

I also just bought a 61 degree Yururi Raw and have been trying to figure out which shaft to put it on. I'm thinking heavier for more control. I probably should get fitted but I'm too excited to get these on the course.

sw   a little lighter.

lw light.

ns 125s  in irons.

ns 125wedge  in   52.

ns 115 wedge  56.

ns 950s  in lob.

 

all how u like ur feel.

 

much prefer  ligjter wedges  for getting  handsy .

 

ns wedge shafts   fwiw are  excellent.

115 or 125.

115s a bit looser.

125are pretty taught.

 

they both feel  very good   with yururi. 

950s  feel  amazing

Anyone ever put a pokey wedge flex on a yururi head? I have a 60 degree and not sure which shaft to put on it.
