As a user of the bag for the past few years, I would agree with the weight component. I have a Scotland trip this summer and will be finding something lighter for that trip.

Finally had a chance to hit some balls and took a few pics while I was out. As far as I am concerned, this bag is holding up as well as I could ask for. I have no idea what durability issues one individual claims to have had but this bag has been rock solid for me.

Would you say the Stand Bag is a slimmer profile like a Hoofer Lite, or a bulkier profile like a Hoofer? In some pics I've seen it looks quite slim, and not so much in others.

I am looking at the Kantle bag for my 13 year old son. My husband saw one the other day and said he liked the look of them. My son has recently started carrying his bag rather than using his push cart. Any thoughts regarding if you think this bag would be too heavy for him? He averages about 2-4 (9) hole rounds during the school week and on tournament weekends 2-3 (18) hole rounds. Last summer he walked 18 holes average of 5 days/week. I am sure this summer will be the same. I imagine in the heat he may opt to use his push cart for non tournament rounds. Right now he carries a Stitch Bag (not sure which one...). His only complaint is it hasn't held up very well to the amount of use it gets.

My only concern with that model is the size of the pockets with attempting to carry a lot more stuff in it. So long as he doesn’t overload it I think he’ll be fine.

If he doesn’t mind laying his bag on the ground, the Sunday bag is more compact than the stand bags. I originally ordered one of those but the straps didn’t fit me but I’m 6’4” and 230 pounds so I’m sure for a 13 year-old it would be perfect. If you have the ability to do so, I would order both and then return the one that he doesn’t prefer.

I am playing tomorrow, I’ll try to grab one of each from the pro shop and take pics of them head to head.

have this exact bag and its definitely in the slimmer profile camp!
