Quit Qui Oc?

Heading to Sheboygan in about a month and a half. Already have a solid 4 days of golf planned with Sunday/Monday being late rounds at Blackwolf Run. Is this course worth a potential early morning play?

The 18 hole course has some charm to it, I have not played the front this year, but have played the back 9 and the Glacier 9 (separate clubhouse down the road).  The greens on the 18 ( I want to say original course/18, but I believe only the front 9 is original) we're not in best shape last year, a bit better this year (played back nine early summer).  Last time I played the glacier ~ 3 weeks ago the clubhouse attendant states they were in really good shape and the super was working hard on them.to get them back.  The Glacier 9 is a really nice 9holes of golf with a decent amount of elevation change, twist and turns, and IMO the green complex's are better and better condition.  The topography of the back 9 and glacier 9 are more closely matches.  The front is fine and there is elevation change but is not quite as dramatic as the back or Glacier.

I hesitate to make recommendations to folks going to Whistling/Black wolf, as it's in a different league, but if you don't mind something that is quirky/fun that isn't.perfectly manicured, then yeah go play it.

Thank you! I'm just trying to figure out how to maximize the golf out there w/o breaking the bank too much. Our 2 Blackwolf Run rounds are at 130pm which means we should be able to play 9 early morning (might try the Baths 9 hole one day) before those rounds. I know there's not a ton to do in Sheboygan but we will make the most of it. 2 of the guys going with me just came back from an epic adventure in Scotland playing golf so hopefully what I have lined up doesn't disappoint too much.

If your pro can get you on Pine Hills, it’s definitely worth playing.

The glacial 9 is pretty fun at Quit Qui Oc

its across the road from Road America so it’s sort of fun to hear racing while playing golf

i played the glacial 9 twice in a row one day.

id second the recommendation to get on at Pine Hills, if you can.

Which course MV or The River?

I think the back 9 on MV is my favorite stretch of 9 holes I have played

I agree, it's the best 9 holes out there IMO.  Played the OG Championship Course late fall and they had the nines reversed starting on River front and ending on MV back, that's how the routing should be! Late fall super twilight for $45😉

Edit to say I know it's a mix of front and back holes for The river 9 of the OG Championship Course, as you start on 1 and play a few and then ~ halfway thru transition to the back 1-4, 14-18🤔

wondering how your trip went?  We have gone to Sheboygan the last 7 years on vacation.  I have not played Quit Qi Oc but was considering doing so this summer.  I really enjoy the Bull and plan to play it again this summer along with Blackwolf Run which is my favorite course of the bunch.

the trip was amazing! everyone loved the courses and we are actually setting up another trip for this coming august for my 40th birthday. Going to do Whistling Straits (both courses) Erin Hills, Sand Valley (both courses) and finish off at The Bull on the way back to the airport. Cannot wait!!!
